yeah this description would make alot more sense.
there are tons of 1800...if this is really the ONLY requirement, then boxer will have a good number of registries in the 5 digits.
would've been more helpful if boxer or I stated whether this applies to just KR or global.
I guess on the korean server, most "decent" players grind 1v1 games in private 1v1s rather than stomping the ladder. Since I think they prefere to perfect each match up one at a time on each match ready for any tournaments.
i think this is a great marketing move by mr. lim. without a doubt clan slayers can have the largest members of any starcraft "CLAN". with intel sponsoring him, lim fanboys will buy/wear anything that the clan advertises, as they're in the clan also (more reason to support clan related brands).
his main goal, according to him, is to form a gosu team/clan (outside of pro scene) so that he can improve. he firmly believes there are a lot of gosu hiding in the sc2(playxp) community.

I think that it's completely obvious that it only applies to the KR server... but I could be wrong.

says it's kr only on the site because of playability
With bonus pool going up and up, today's 1800 isn't the same as it was a month ago, even on KR. IMMvp just broke 3000 points. We'll have to see, but I bet BoxeR won't actually be accepting anyone lower than 2500. It's not like he'll be desperate to find players willing to play with him.
I'm really interested in who ends up here... I hope he finds some gems in the rough... pull some new blood into this. With SC2 there's bound to be tons out there.
On a semi-related note, the recent trend seems to be typing out your in game handle in korean. As in 슬레이어스박서. I was watching Gisado the other day and saw that a lot of other people are doing the same. ^^;;
