Thus is the power of BoxeR ;p lol that would be so nice where you can apply for a clan and if you're accepted a tag gets added before or after your name and if you get removed from the clan the tag gets removed.

Meaning... there are a lot of Oov/Nada/Boxer/Yellow/JD/Flash v2.0's out there, not yet harnessed. They're not going to be 1800+ in Korea, because they've JUST started picking up the game because of Boxer & Nada. In other words... there are a ton of UNBELIEVABLY talented koreans scaling the ladder right now, and some of the best haven't gotten near the top yet. I think this is a smart decision by Boxer... have a TON of "SlayerS"s floating around, let them improve, and then at the end, form a team out of the top. Then all the SlayerS clan members will strive to be in that team... and as everyone keeps saying, maybe the next Oov will be there someday. I would argue that the talent field has already depleted due to BW. You are forgetting that SC2 is not a brand new type of game, but one that is to either replace or co-exist with BW. All four GSL2 finalists were former- BW progamers. In Korea, SC2 is in fact less popular than BW atm, and hence it is dubious that SC2 is attracting new talents. Those who are on top of the ladder should all be those with considerable BW experience. Hence, a second Oov in the existing SC2 talent pool is not likely. But Boxer's method may still work out on the premise that the old BW players do not switch to SC2.

lol if it's a clan then even more reason to join! (team would be unrealisitic and he'd probably want to see you in person...)

Right now I bet there's plenty of players who have the potential to become great learning the game and rising through the ranks. You got to remember, Boxer started off only building Zealots. How many top players today started by only playing BGH and Fastest? The new game, and new leagues revive interest in actually playing competitively yourself, and Sc2 is easier to macro so the player field is broadened over time, not shrunk.
