On a side note, i'm in computer information batcholer program. You don't want to see any of my female classmates naked.
LoL, if the girls arent worth it, why you bother anyways?!

That blog is so awesome. I mean, some people go crazy about writing funny stories/scenario, from their imagination. But sometimes, you just have to look around you, and there's hilarious shit happening all the time.
I mean, college students having sc2 fights? Like James Dean's car races have been replaced by reaper rushes? :D

Man, you are living in a fantasy land. These are regular bros in a college class, they don't give a shit about whether or not you're amazing at an online video game. They'll certainly talk shit back when a nerd starts fronting for literally no reason, but why in the world should they actually care?
You don't "take a seat" to someone with a skill you don't care about who tries to shove it in your face.

Let me give you two analogies which you are trying to defend:
1. Two people talking about the golf round they just had. They "torn it up." You, a good amateur golfer, overhear the conversation. After discovering they were playing on the local course (EGADS) and using improper out-of-the-rough technique, you quickly explain who you are and how they are playing wrong. Shockingly, rather than accepting your advice, they are rude and wonder why you are talking to them.
2. Two people are carrying a basketball, about to play 21. After seeing that they aren't that good, you randomly show up to challenge them to a 2v1. Shockingly, rather than accepting your bold challenge, they don't give a fuck and tell you to fuck off.
This isn't how the real world goes. You don't bust into games of 21 and challenge kids for their honour; You ask if you can play too and then show them you're good. Why am I even explaining this it's fucking common sense.

This is beyond ridiculous, if you're 23 and talking about owning someone in dodgeball you have issues.

You are someone who plays on a professional twos team and are in a class with two guys who are preaching about how much harder sixes is. You then try to join the conversation and offer your input that you feel twos is harder and they laugh at you and tell you that you have no idea wtf you are talking about.
But it's cool because you've helped to hype this up to the point where it's going to be hilarious.

lol chill, I had the exact same kind of post written out yesterday, but I thought to myself, "is it even worth it?" Then I figured if you're 23 yrs old and you still don't get it, then ... yeah ... =T
+ Show Spoiler +Reminds me of this weird scrawny kid in middle school summer camp who would passive aggressively and awkwardly ask to play ultimate frisbee with us. He acted all high and mighty like he was the god of frisbee, but the truth was he just took himself wayyyy too seriously and charged at people like his whole life was at stake. Then one day he straight up tackles my friend for the frisbee, we're all like, WTF this kid who does that -- then to our shock, the kid has my friend in a solid rear-naked choke hold (no joke) and my friend's face is all red, eyes fluttering, and we're like OH SHI-. We run over to wrestle the kid off him before he loses consciousness (the choke cuts off blood supply to your brain so you can pass out in seconds, literally), and the kid just stands up, brushes himself off, then walks away like it was nothing and ignores us yelling at him. The very next day, the kid has the audacity to walk up to us, I remember this so clearly, he says outloud to no one in particular "The teams are 6 vs 7, you need a 7th person." Serious, guy? Seriously?
Obviously none of us here are that kid, but it kinda scares me what kind of fantasy land some people here live in...
Oh, and for staying on topic, KICK THEIR ASSES CHEASE LOL

How stupid would one have to be to agree to play on the side with more players? There is no way you can win unless you are betting something.

I can see how you could assume that by what you read. It can be hard to understand what the situation is if you weren't here, and more so because I explained it poorly.
Let me make this clear, I didn't come out of the blue and randomly challenge them to something just because i'm better. You may not believe me, but i'm not socially retarded. These guys are classmates and I simply tried to give some helpful input, then they arrogantly assumed i was terrible.
I'm sure all of you have met people like these. They think they are more valuable then everyone else and deserve special privileges. They think they can cut in front of you while driving because they are more important. They think they are better at everything.

Seriously, when you talk to one of the best NA players in the world, I don't care who you are (you could be Obama), you shut up and take a seat when StarCraft II is mentioned. Anyone who doesn't is overly cocky and should be dismissed as such without all this unneeded drama. He didn't shove anything in their face if you actually read his post. All he did was attempt to add some input on a matter that he knew vastly more about and those 'college bros' acted like asshats and told him he didn't know shit. Furthermore, you referring to CheAse as a nerd but not the other two is hilarious since all three of them are in the same class. Lol you guys are insane. Let me give you two analogies which you are trying to defend: 1. Why am I even explaining this it's fucking common sense. pretty much you can look at the posts in this thread and easily figure out who are the normal people that happen to play starcraft, and the people who do nothing but play starcraft
Hi. Just thought I'd alert you...this is a Starcraft forum...there's going to be a ton of people that do nothing but play Starcraft or rather play it a lot. What makes them not normal? How do you define normal?
If someone likes SC, and posts on teamliquid, does he need to say...play more basketball to qualify as normal?

As for the earlier questions if I'm actually "good". I think I'm decent but nothing special. Out of the top 100 players currently, ive played 36 of them and beat 23 of them before ( doesn't mean it wasn't like 1-50 ratio but hey its still something) I've also been on every top 200 except for this week. I've been getting a lot worse because of school, and I had to send back my video card. On September 30 2010 10:31 DaBears57 wrote: What grade are they in?
