So there are these 2 guys in my class who are pretty much duchebags and think they are "the shit".
They are the kinda guys who only talk to girls and try to impress everyone by making bad dirty jokes(not many ppl like them).
They were talking about sc2 team games so I tried to join in, asked them how good they are, races, ect. After I got shunted, they go on about how hard 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 is. I tell them that 1v1 is where most of the competitive gaming is, and they respond by telling me that I will never get better if I only play 1v1.
I didn't want to sound like an elitist so I didn't tell them off.
Now the question is should I tell them they are noobies and put them in their place.
by the way, they are like gold in all of their leagues.

Challenge them to a 1vs2, kick both of their asses in the same time. it's not hard, I did it to Chill and kennigit.

Get them to play some bet games and get some cash.If they don't agree you can always use that to shut them up so a win/win situation.

Yea i've ran into people like this before. My boss was talking about SC before and how WoW is so much harder. I told him he probably didn't have any idea what goes on in the SC world, and he responded with something like "Umm i used to play turret defense all the time, i know how to play online".
imo you should ask them to play with you, and then beat their faces in when you do. Then they wouldnt say shit, and you could even call them noobs online THEN go talk to the girls they try to get and tell them you are the best SC2 player in the class, you'll get laid for sure.

Sounds like they are just cool and having fun. You shouldn't try to "beat them" because I foresee that just ending in you looking like a fool.
Edit: Like everything about this situation shows you've already lost. Considering only talking to girls a negative thing. Having a legitimate point against them but being shut down. Not standing up for yourself and your point and favouring avoiding argument.

Just ignore them tbh. You are already undeniably better than they are, so by playing them, there's a chance that you may lose. You gain nothing from winning, so don't take that chance.

No point in being douche yourself. Most importantly, why are people trying to tell those people about competitive world? The flux we got from release of SC2 is enough.

Edit: If you really want to play with them, the best route is to go in humble and silent, win convincingly, and then stay silent afterward. There's no one more frustrating to lose to than someone like that (for me at least).

Gonna agree with Chill, there's a life lesson to be learned here: how to pick your battles. Not only are these kids better than you at Starcraft 2 by having a more diverse training regiment that encompasses all game types, they are better with women, they are funnier than you, and based on the story completely alpha dogged you right in front of everyone. And by everyone i mean the audience of girls they were probably talking to at the time.

I'm making some wild jumps here, but I'm imaging the 2 kids in the story making some stupid comments in passing to the OP and forgetting about it. And then him focusing on "I'll get them!" And what's going to happen? He'll either lose and look like a joke, or he'll win and they won't give a fuck.
OP, just do you. That means not making a diabolical plan to get back at 2 guys who play Starcraft 2 casually. That's my advice.

You're right, i really should have said something, but i couldn't think of anything to say at the time that wouldn't sound like " i'm better than you so i know better".
I haven't told them i''m any good at all, I'm assuming that they think I'm bad since they were telling me how to learn to play.
On a side note, i'm in computer information batcholer program. You don't want to see any of my female classmates naked.
