Need to watch this game. Apparently there was a major fuck-up by Jaedong but still need to see that.

Mistakes happen. This one was pretty costly though, even by BW progamer standards. Oz (well Jaedong) needs a strong winner's league performance because their team is just not good enough to do much better than .500 in the regular format.

I can say that if Flash hasn't done any mistakes he would win against Jaedong even if Jaedong didn't make any mistakes. What johanes just pointed is an old statement which I have heard countless times at TL specifically from Oz/Jaedong fans.

Thats because argumenting with if statement in such case is just silly.

Of course if someone makes a huge blunder they deserve to lose the game regardless of how well he played prior to it. Forgetting consume is a 100% unforgivable mistake in ZvT once you finish your defiler mound. That's like saying "oh but Stork would have won if he didn't forget dragoon range" or "but Flash would have won if he didn't let Hyun get the mutalisks into his main". 100% fanboy stupidity.

JD played well for the whole game except that he forgot consume, but that mistake was too huge so he lost. Even if it's just one click if it's that important and game deciding, you should make sure you don't screw that up. A game can be decided by a one-click mismicro as well, like not stimming when flank comes. That said, I think JD and Flash are of equal skill level normally.
