I work for the city I live in, in their Parks and Recreation Aquatics division. So I fulfill lots of different roles throughout the year, but right now I mostly just coach swim teams and lifeguard. I also work for my family taking care of my grandparents a few days each week, because my Grandpa has developed Alzheimer's and my Grandma has a prosthetic leg that keeps her from being able to keep up their place by herself. I graduated college with dual degrees in International Studies and Speech Communication with a minor in Spanish, but because of the economy, have had trouble finding a job along those lines. Now, I'm working on starting my own Communication Consulting business, mostly focusing on interview coaching. My overall career dream, though, is to do something in entertainment: acting, singing, hosting, anything, so usually I'm also working on stuff like that on the side, but not making much money off that yet. (If you know anyone...  )
I live with 1 roommate in a funny little house from the 70's with lots of spiders and floors that slope. One side of my bed is up on bricks so I don't roll off in the middle of the night. We say it has character. It also has a room filled only with gaming paraphernalia, which we call the "Cave of Wonders".
