So, whenever I feel like I need to lose weight and look ripped and hawt, I take three days and don't do anything. I don't eat, I don't exercise, I do absolutely nothing. Just kinda lay around and drink water (basically a cleansing). Then after the third day, I'll keep a banana and a warm bottle of water beside my bed, then after I wake up, I eat the banana, drink the bottle, then go run like a fucking thing that runs a lot. After a few days of this banana/water/running phase, I look a lot thinner. I feel better. I have more confidence. Then I get drunk and eat shit then I'm back to square one. I hope you don't take any of this advice at all.

I have a bowl of cereal in the morning, almost always miss lunch cuz of work (that'll change) and then dinner (either Korean food, Indian, steak, pasta etc... whatever we feel like eating...) I know I should eat small amounts all throughout the day... and once Sept comes along I'll be able to go out for lunch more often... but even then I usually eat out since all I can pack with me are sandwiches. HALP. thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=85294 Like someone else mentioned, the sauces in Korean/Chinese/Indian (especially) are killer. Take a look at a glycemic index and try to find foods on the lower end of it, which will basically translate into higher fiber, less sugar. I don't know if it's possible to get brown rice over there, but it's a lot better than white. Kellogg's has been releasing more and more meal replacement foods, so they might be good for snacks or if you can't get lunch. The downside is that they actually taste really good (at least the bars and shakes), so it's easy to overdo them. At school, I end up having a shit ton of turkey sandwiches on wheat bread because the food they serve is awful and unhealthy, and it works out pretty well. Like someone else here, I can't do 5-6 meals a day. It just doesn't fit into my schedule and I don't enjoy it very much, but I still do pretty well eating 2 very healthy meals (breakfast + lunch) and a decently healthy (still splurge on dessert too much) meal for dinner. It's good that you're looking to add muscle. Most women shy away from it because they're afraid of looking like a female body builder, but that simply won't happen unless you drop to like 10% body fat. Not only does it burn calories during the exercise, but muscle tissue uses more energy during downtime as well. Oh, and alcohol is bad. You can still drink, but I don't think you can do half a Rekrul drinking cycle and lose weight.

eat a large breakfast, get that metabolism going early on in the day and keep it going with small snacks throughout. light dinner. cardio needs to be of a certain intensity and duration to get max results. balance this out for yourself e.g. sprinting for 5min aint gonna do it, but a snail pace jog for 45min aint that great either. have a cheat meal once or twice a week (but no more) where you can eat all that shit you've been dreaming about throughout the rest of the week. and you will be dreaming, at least until you form the habit of eating unprocessed foods, steamed vegetables, etc. habits take about a month to form, so rough it out for a month and you're good to go. hydrate with water and tea. only drink coke at your cheat meal, one coke can just make your hour long workout from that day irrelevant. i'd say physical transformations are majority diet, next sleep/stress, and least importantly working out. you are what you eat, yea? count your daily caloric intake for a normal week where you maintain the same weight--your diet should be 500 calories less. weigh yourself in the morning at the same time every week so you can adjust your daily diet accordingly. with a 500 caloric deficit, you'll be making steady progress and won't be starving or out of energy, and the weight won't yo-yo back on. it's all about consistency!

Look for a product called naked juice, which is made of strictly blended fruit. If you can't find them, I would typically buy a juice called apple strawberry orange juice, cut up a half of a banana, throw in 6-7 strawberries, and add ice. Blend it all up, and it tastes great. However, you may wanna try some of the fruit that you enjoy in place of some of the others.
