Eat plenty of fruit, nuts and vegetables, fat fish(containing omega3 fats)such as salomon and makerell + tuna and chicken. Omega 3 makes it easier for your body to burn fat

Diets are horrible! A waste of time, especially if they contain cereal and soy. All that i can advise, as have others in the thread is to try to cut down on the carbohydrates and that includes booze.

Whenever I wanted some chips, I would just grab a bad of celery and eat it until the word "I'm hungry" vanished from my thoughts. Running daily isn't a big deal. All you have to do is make running into a daily habit. In my personal preference, running on those shitty machines suck. It really makes running alot less fun. Running out in the sun feels alot better and if you live in a nice place, you can enjoy the small things in life :D

If not, go with fish and chicken for your meats (but don't eat too much meat), avoid fatty and greasy foods, eat less/almost no sweets (and less/no bread as well). Remember veggies. Chips/fries and most other party snacks are suicidal for weight loss. Also no beer if you must drink drink hard liquor lol. Rice is also similar to bread so don't just eat a bunch of rice instead of healthy stuff to diet. Salads are good too. Hope I'm not too late for this thread, although I suspect most of this has been said.

One day his posts are all in caps and the next he writes a thought-provoking blog/story/post. I suspect his personality is different in person, but so is everybodies.

Make all your meals, never eat out ever, eat 6 times a day, workout after work is done, avoid fats, etcetcetc. There's tons of info in the TL Fitness thread, and plenty of pple who will gladly advise you on a dietary plan. But as Dan implies, I'd urge you to use your reunion as a catalyst to a healthier lifestyle, rather than using it as a temporary motivator. I can tell you from experience that once you really commit to living and eating well, you're going to have inertia (LOL DAN AGAIN??) on your side in maintaining it. Though it can definitely get painful at times lol. I've eaten identical meals for the last 2 months basically P

Naturally, if you're intaking less food than you're used to you WILL lose weight. Sounds simple, but could prove very hard for a lot of people. The process of eating less food will be tough on your stomach at first, but eventually it'll get easier because your stomach will shrink, and eventually you'll just feel full after eating less, surprisingly enough. Anyway, if you're working with a trainer, running and lifting should make you lose weight steadily if you're pushing yourself. Just remember that after workouts is when you're going to be most hungry, so if you're going to eat, remember to eat right. Fruit and lean meat is really good. If you're serious about losing weight, you have to be willing to eat some bland foods, as well as put time into preparing it. I also reccomend bringing a protein shake with you while you're at the gym as it serves 2 purposes: 1. Helps you build muscle mass 2. Actually gives you energy to complete workouts, and helps you become less hungry afterwards.

People tend to make an impact on the people they rarely see than the people they see everyday. Maybe because you know that you have this one chance of impressing them. On the other hand, you know that you'll have until death to impress the people you see everyday.
