half your blogs are about being a spoiled whiney brat jesus.

Boy did your parents fail in raising you. Honestly, if your dad put up with a really shitty job for 15 years to bring food home and to pay the bills, he's been through a lot more shit than you have. In times like these, it should be YOU who is trying to be supportive of your parents, not fighting them and bitching about it on TL. Your parents have probably gone through a lot worse than you have so they could raise you, and yet you're ungrateful, whiny, and have no sense of responsibility. Grow the fuck up and try asking your parents what you could do to be supportive.

Race bro, i think your complaining like a little girl. Your dad lost his job and your really sad, we can understand but then you take it to a different level saying that it sucks JUST because u lose your phone. I think you need to prioritize whats important in your life and be thankful for what you have. Not everybody in TL belogn to rich white collar families. It is time for you to grow up my friend

LOL You have to be kidding me
Why don't you get some cash and buy the phone yourself if its so important to you?
All you asked for is a computer, internet, and a smartphone? First of all that's already a fucking hell of a lot (more than I have, by personal choice), and second of all, that's fucking bullshit. You have a place to live, food to eat, people that love you and a fucking easy life.

Oh dear, Fanatacist is going to have a field day... Race, not a good idea. I'm sorry your dad left his job but your reaction to it is like a spoiled little brat. To everyone else, lay it off a bit, even if he's acting like this he's obviously still upset by it.

You deserve to get punched in the face.

holy shit at all these people fucking ragging on the OP about being "ungrateful". If anything imo his dad is at fault here, quitting before getting a new job, when many can't even get a job right now. Not the smartest of decision..
And Jesus Christ people saying stop complaining, and then the others calling him an asshole, did you read his posts? What I read was that he's in a bit of a shock that he got his phone taken away (imagine if you got your internet/car/something valued taken away suddenly, you'd be in a bit of a shock too), he told us his dad quit because he didn't like his job, and he finds that ironic because his dad told him that you have to put up with things you don't like. Is that really so much complaining?

come back after reading some of his blogs Too tired, gonna go to sleep soon, but I skimmed through them (too many damn blogs -_-'' ), basically surmised he's some high schooler that has anger management issues, not fully matured yet obviously.. I still think that people were rather overboard in their responses to the OP.
edit: damn the smilies

Be thankful your father will be around before he gets a fucking stroke or goes senile.
QFT. My company (building construction) has forced me to work 10days out of town, and 4 days intown for the last few years now, and let me be one of the first to tell you that it is really horrible to constantly be away from the things you love and care about. Family and friends, your spouse, and everything you worked towards and purchased. It's like all this stuff I have now doesnt really feel like it's mine, and that im really only visiting my apartment, and it's back on the road again.
What im getting at is don't be soo angry at your father. Working on the road , especially for 15years really has a toll on someones life. Maybe he wants to be back with his family for a change, rather than be a person living outside of the loop. You should never complain about such things. It could be soo much worse, and losing a phone that you didnt even pay for in the first place is nothing.
You're 15, go out and get a part-time job and work towards your own things. This way not only will you appreciate what you buy alot more, but you will also see what its like to be in your fathers shoes (minus all of that terrible time away from home).
|
Well if his profile is correct, he's only 15 and might not be old enough for a job.
(needing to be 16 is pretty standard for jobs in America)

Look into mowing lawns, I'm pretty sure they don't care what age you are as long as you do a good job. You'll have enough money to buy a cell phone/whatever the hell else you want in no time, really. At first I never really wanted to get a job either but as soon as I got one I wish I had gotten one much sooner. You will be amazed at the amount of money you get if you work any amount of hours at all.
Really though, I'm sure you have heard this a million times before and I'm a huge hypocrite for even saying it, but SAVE MONEY when you do get a job! 10% is nothing out of your paycheck even if you are making minimum but it adds up so fast and is a LIFESAVER when say, your car breaks down, twice.
Having a job is awesome.
