You are aware of the fact that he almost killed Iris several times in the fifth game right? Comments like yours makes me think that you have no knowledge of the mechanics involved in TvP and how much concentration and multi-tasking that is involved in fighting off that early proxy robo and goons by Bisu.
I saw the game timer when watching the early game on youtube and thought "ok Iris is dead, I guess they will show some ceremony or whatever the rest of the time"; 20 minutes or whatever. However he clawed his way back into the game with sick harassment and defending against Bisus army so many times. I was SURE Bisu was gonna win it, even though the game was prolonged.
And to everyone saying Bisu played like shit, you deserve your D- on ICCUP because there is no way in hell, anyone with some knowledge about Starcraft would say that he sucked in these games.
Bisu lost to iris because he threw his army at Iris over and over and over with his rather large economic advantage, sure he almost killed him a bunch of time, attacking iris over and over was what any good protoss would do and Bisu is DEFINATELY top 3 PvT due to the other dragons not looking as good anymore. Bisu gained a pretty large economic advantage(DUE TO 10/15 + 1BASE PROXY ROBO REAVER.+ elevator) That cheese got Bisu pretty far ahead, but Iris played REALLYGOOD and survived it with a wraith and really good usage of his tanks. I disagree that not a lot of terrans would've survived that attack because if that were true that would make the build Bisu did way too overpowered, I mean he didn't really do significant damage before that elevator, 4 tanks and a wraith is good enough to hold off a bunch of goons and a shuttle with a reaver. I'm not saying that Iris did bad defending it, but after the attack he was definately behind.
Bisu was so close to winning so many times, but Iris was just hanging in there while slowly killing bisu's economy. Iris's harrass was so good that most protosses would've given up defeind it, but bisu did great. Bisu kept denying Iris from getting more than 2/3 mining bases at a time also by being very aggressive. Which was good, but at the end, I was like WTF BISU UR SO BAD because iris practically killed ALL OF BISUS PROBES while Bisu was trying to end it and attacking into Iris's main.
Once he realized that Iris was gonna survive with like 2 tanks left, he tried to run probes and save his bases, but it was already too late, those 2 dropships owned ALL OF HIS ECONOMY. while Iris still had a good amount of SCVs. So he turtled a bit and moved out with a medium sized army THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE WON IF BISU WASN'T CARELESS.
Vs Average Progamer Terrans Bisu would've stomped them, but against Iris, once he gets ahead, Irisjust dealed with Bisu's aggression and crawled back into the game and win. Bisu is just a bit too careless with his lead and underestimates Iris's defense and harrass, I mean LETTING 3 VULTURES KILL A NEXUS?
Also, what makes me wonder is why would you think Iris would be dead? Most of Bisus attacks in the mid-late game were directed to his 3rd/4th base. It's not really GG until protoss has a bunch of units in your main, or he has some ridiculous advantage. 1 of Bisu's wins was blind coutnering with DT cheese, the other was started witha proxy gate. The last game was 10/15 into proxy robo, in which he got a massive lead and still lost.
I'm NOT saying Bisu is some chobo who is 0-10000 on iccup against terrans, I'm saying that there is no way in hell that Iris could've won Game 5 if Bisu didn't hand it to him by letting less than 12 vultures completely destroy his 5/6th bases and every single one of his probes. you can't tell me that letting Iris do that means that Iris is a complete Gosu and Bisu just couldn't do anything about it even though he is really really good.
Edit: Calling people d- on iccup ;D, really great way to get people to respect your opinion huh.

This led to him making the mistake of all-inning with his army, only to fall short of finishing Iris off. Perhaps you can argue that Iris' quick 3rd is "brilliant" or "great play", but that's your opinion. And in my opinion, that's not enough to say that it was more of Iris' win than Bisu's loss. The sad thing is, no matter who wins against people like JD, Bisu, or Flash, people will downplay it and make the winner not look as good by saying "XXX lost the game, YYY didn't win." Fact of the matter is that Iris wooped Bisu's ass in a BO5, and he deserves some damn recognition. He's been a great player for a long time but he hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves. I said, he played solidly.

Would you ignore Hyuk's epic fail? Even though this doesn't parallel Iris vs Bisu in several issues, my point is that you can't ignore how badly Bisu fail at certain points in the game.
EDIT: To make this analogy better, imagine that Hyuk micro'd his drones extremely well BUT JD micro'd his lings PERFECTLY. Afterwards you might praise JD for his ling micro and as an afterthought say that Hyuk played a GG, as he still micro'd his drones well.
Isn't there something wrong with this? DUH! You've completely missed the epic fail that occurred.

There was no ridiculously epic fail. Iris beat Bisu in a long, drawn out game by constantly surviving attacks. It's not like Bisu threw away key units or fucked up his building positioning, locking himself in his base, or any unbelievably outstanding mistakes. He made bad choices, but nothing ridiculous that takes away any recognition from Iris. People just say Bisu lost instead of Iris winning because people don't want to believe that the likes of Bisu and Jaedong are beatable, so they'll always make excuses.

1. I'm not taking anything away from Iris. I'm giving him what he deserves, which is him playing SOLIDLY. Shit, how many times do I have to use that word before you CJ/Iris fans understand my perspective. 2. Excuses? Wtf? What's done is done and I do know that Bisu/JD can lose in Bo5. No one is saying that Iris did not win. 3. My main point is that you CANNOT ignore Bisu's failures. If I said that alone, why the hell would you argue against that? I'm not even saying anything further than that. All I'm saying is that Bisu failed pretty hardcore in a lot of his decision making (all due to his lack of scouting). 4. No ridiculous epic fail? Do you not understand what an analogy is? Regardless of whether it's an EPIC fail, a SMALL fail, or just a FAIL, it's still a FAIL. Bisu's FAIL is not scouting the quick 3rd and continuing to suicide army after army, hoping to finish the game off. All he had to do was sit on his bases and stomp any pushes from Iris, prevent any economic harassment, and macro up. But whenever he got a decently sized army he would proceed to lose it in a battle where the trade-off rate was obviously not his in favor. I don't care what you think of it, but I would call that pretty fail.
*Face-palm*
EDIT: I'm going to stop here, as everyone has their own opinions. Really no point in arguing.

Bisu was not under performing in game 5, he just got out played by what was perhaps the best TvP I have ever seen. I have watched thousands of SC games and that was in the top 5... holy crap gonna go watch it again.

I don't care what you think of it, but I would call that pretty fail. *Face-palm* EDIT: I'm going to stop here, as everyone has their own opinions. Really no point in arguing. So... he made a lot of bad decisions and failed strategically... You have to pause for a sec here and ask yourself why did he do it? Its pretty simple, he played stupid. Imo, he is a pretty stupid player all around, he just got his timings and insane multitasking, but when it comes to adaptibility and using ur brain in the fucking game he simply fails time and time again... Lets face it Bisu is good, but hes no smart player like JD or Savior. Wait, what does that have to do with the point of my post and the argument? haha
I wouldn't attribute his bad decisions to his stupidity (if you can even say he is), but rather to his lack of scouting Iris' very quick 3rd.
Is JD smart? I remember FakeSteve said something like Fantasy is a smart player but JD is just naturally talented. As in, why is Fantasy so good? Because he plays intelligently. Why is JD so good? He just is.

How can some of you take a tense, action-packed game (5), and tear it to pieces like this?
Instead of, "Congrats, Iris!", we get, "Bisu FAIL, he's still better I are expert iccup you is ign'ant."
Like all competitions, this game isn't played on paper.
Anyway, congrats, Iris! Please beat Kwanro and ascend to the finals!

So basically unless Bisu wins an ace match tonight, he should drop out of the top 5 in the PR. That is what everyone is saying, right?

Lol if you call Bisu's play in the Bo5 specially the 5 game is bad then he is definitively a bad PvsT player. He always play badly like that win or lose. Iris > Bisu at PvsT matchup at the moment. Accept the fact and move on man!

And I don't know about that, Bisu doesn't usually play that sloppy. :/
Feel free to prove me wrong though. T__T
