Extras: (anything that does not quite fit above) v Not sure what you mean by 'expect' there. Maybe he will change the layout maybe not. Considering the effort put into this...I would certainly say it deserves a better layout though. Plus it would help readers and it wont take long. But hey...not horrible so I guess that's good...or something. | ||

I see that you made a fair amount of vods detailing how to play against 3 hatchery builds by the zerg. This is great, but I have to say that an increasing number of zergs choose some sort of 2 hatch strategies on iccup. It's just that alot of Z players think they are God-damned Julyzerg for some reason lately and go for fast muta builds. So, my question is, how do you prefer to counter 2 hatch builds and please make a vod of this if you feel like it? Again, many thanks, you are doing a great job. Keep it up. | ||

anyway i tried to record a vod today of 2hatch counters, however i played really bad today and every zerg did 3hatch so i deleted everything and i dont feel like playing atm so i guess there wont be anyy updates today. Gotta be at work at 7am tomorrow aswell. | ||

This vod includes alot of general tips aswell since the opening is the same as the 9minPush opening for w hile until it adjusts. Its late now and i will post the buildorder tomorrow. My next project is an in-game vod of the most common 2hatchopenings and also tvz mech game and buildvod since the map is destination now. Enjoy! Also i might add the layout when I get the time for it. But right now I have very little time and I'd rather use it to make more vods rather than chaning the layout of the old ones. Let me know what you guys think about that! | ||

The usual A-yu-mi build will have 4 marines making when the academy is finished. But if you face 2hatch, stop marinemaking in time so you can add medics as soon as the academy finishes. Then attack. Zerg will be forced to defend the attack with his mutalisks rather than attacking your base. If you add E-bay when you move out you will be able to have turrets up in time when he has killed your units. Because you have no range, sunkens+mutalisk will probably kill your attack. But it will give you time to build turrets. From there he will have few drones (coz he made sunkens from 2hatch build) and you will have turrets + 4barracks. Defend until you get range and then usually move out, or just keep making scvs, defend and tech up to vessels. | ||

Make sure to always have your attention on the gas, you do NOT want your gas to be stolen again. When it is destroyed or he cancelled it, start constructing your refinary. During this time, mass marines, don't stop until you reach around 7, if he's rushing, never ever stop making them. Put down a bunker if you have to and make your factory asap. If he isn't rushing, just expand with a CC on your natural BEFORE factory (but after gas) and with a bunker. The protoss will soon start hammering it with range goons, but don't worry, just repair with 3-4 scvs and wait for a tank. Important: Upgrade siege mode asap together with a tank when your factory is done, you will need the siege against the goons. Don't try to attack the goons without siege, there will likely be at least 3 or 4 dragoons, and your siege will be done in just a few seconds. Put down your engineering bay just when your factory finishes, earlier if you feel like you must. After this just play normally. | ||

great job men, i expect some similar from a protoss player =) Can we have a cool thread like this for Zerg, please? :-/ tbh this is a lot easier to do as T, since you will do the same builds pretty much every time regardless of what the Z or P is doing. I guess you can do this for ZvT and PvT easily enough, but ZvP\PvZ however is matchup that takes so many different paths. Like it will be different builds for vs 9pool, overpool, overpool speed, 12hatch etc etc unlike with T were you do 1rax FE and 1Fac FE pretty much regardless of what the opponent is doing and the roads are much more set in stone further into the game. I guess I could try to do something like this for the other races but I doubt it would be anything remotely as good as Stylish work. | ||

I get the impression this is harder to set up in a random ladder game than it seems, he could ask a friend to play this specific scenario though.. When a protoss does this, he is showing you exactly how big a fag he is ready to be to get the win, so you should be very wary of his actions from this point. You should focus on eliminating his scouting probe first and kill his assimilator second. After you kill the assimilator your course of action depends on what the protoss is doing, so you have to scout him. As he has chosen the road of gay already by taking the gas, you should expect more faggotry, but you have to know what kind; most often, it is some sort of power goon build with range upgrade, but it can also be something even more gay like DTs or reavers, like you said. It is not uncommon that the gas steal is a part of a proxy cheese build so after you scout his base you should look around the map (or scout with two scvs). If you see him making ranged goons you can start an academy shortly after you build your refinery and get marine range. Build a bunker at your natural and put your marines inside. The marine range will finish faster than waiting for a tank so you will be safe from the goons if you repair the bunker if he starts attacking it. Ideally, you should wall off the choke, if you are unable/dont have enough buildings, you should just place a depo at the choke to make it more narrow to prevent him from simply running by your bunker. If he is rushing you with zealots and everything he has you should build the bunker in your main, close to your CC, while you wait for tanks/vultures/etc. Hope this helps.
