WIth Baltimore looking like they would have to go into Foxborough during the playoffs and the Pats having an extra week to prepare against Lamar, I dont see BB's god tier defense letting the ravens run wild on NE in Gillette stadium.
Ravens are 2-2 all time in Foxborough in the playoffs. The wins were blowouts. The losses required a dropped pass in the end zone, a missed chip shot FG, and super shady trick plays/formations that resulted in a rule change in the offseason. They had an extra week to prepare for the elite tandem of Joe Flacco and Ray Rice for those games as well.
Kyle Shanahan is going to give BB the blueprint to shut the Ravens down next week. Anything the Niners line does to shut down LJ, BB can and will do that better, having better defensive personnel.
What makes you think that the Niners have worse front 7 personal than the Patriots?
Not saying Pats front 7 is better than the Niners, im saying BB can do alot more with his front 7 than KS can imagine drawing up. BB didn't gift Jimmy G to KS for a 2nd round pick for no reason. As far as we know, BB saw the Ravens building their team around LJ and KS owes him BB favor of figuring out Harbaugh's playbook for the Pat's. KS and Jimmy G already saved the Pats 2 years ago by picking off the Jags in the last game of the 2017 season give the Pats home field advantage against Blake Bortles Jags in the playoffs.
This isn't all just cant be a coincidence...
Yes it totally can be, in fact it is farm more likely then a wild conspiracy. Why are some people so drawn to conspiracies it is not that none exist, it is that the old adage the simplest answer is most likely the truth is true.
Whoa there now. There may be some truth to this Insider Trading with BB and other teams. Jimmy G goes to the Niners and they're clearing obstacles for the Patriots. JG is traded and next the Eagles are no longer close to the running. Now we just need the Ravens to lose and we may have a bonafide conspiracy on our hands here.

BB knew he could throw the game against the Ravens because the Pats could still easily win their division while taking that L. BB also knew that the 49ers would need to beat the Ravens to maintain being first in the west, so the 49ers will be using their their whole playbook @ the Ravens on Sunday while BB has revealed nothing. By watching how KS and Seleh orchestrates the D-line against the Ravens in a must win game for the Niners, BB will have enough information to counter LJ come playoff time without revealing any of his schemes. BB closest friend in the NFL is Shanhan, its quite possible KS & BB brokered a deal to make a Jimmy G Tom Brady SB happen just to say fuck you to Goodell. They are both 10-1 leading their divisions for gods sake. Its a movie script.
I still say Wilson. Jackson at least has a couple of legit good Ws against good teams now but piled up a lot of his good games against shit teams. Wilson has had like one bad game all year. He is playing mistake free football while throwing more too and last I saw he was seeing the most pressure of any QB on something like 40% of his dropbacks lol. His line is still dogshit.
I am still of the opinion Jackson is going to come crashing back to earth in the next year or 2 because that's a very mobile friendly system that has a short shelf life but his growth in year 2 is impressive. I just think you take off RW from the sehawks they are a 4-5 win team. The Ravens once again have a top 10 D and they were a 500 team the last few years with the corpse of Flacco there.
also man it's amazing how bad the Rams have become... Goff isn't playing well but that line looks horrible now

I think part of why the D is top 10 is because the O eats up so much of the clock which keeps the D fresh and gives the opponents O on the bench.
I don't disagree that RW is great I just think that because Lamar is doing something we have not seen before and has had those big moments he is what people will think of when they cast their ballot.
At this point the race is probably neck and neck but Lamar has the momentum as RW last two games have been some of his worst and Lamar just exploded on Monday night.
I don't doubt that helps, but it's been a top 10 D for at least the last 4 years including 2 full years with Flacco at the helm. It's a good d regardless of who is there.
I think what Farva said will drive votes if anything.
I would say that harbaugh would get the coach of the year if not for Shanny. they have really tailored that offense in a way that it plays to his strengths and hides his weaknesses really well.

Shanny held Aaron Rodgers who is a first ballot hall of fame mvp superbowl winner and is argueably one of the best QB's to ever play the game to a career low 104 yards. If KS shuts down LJ, KS will be a shoe win for coach of the year. KS also has an extra day of rest for his players and preparation for his plays. I can see the Ravens Niners game going the same score as the Niners Packers game around 8-30. 49ers have the benefit of not blitzing the qb, which already sets them up nicely for dealing with the Ravens 3 tight end 1 running back 1 wide receiver nonsense offense.
if there's any weakness for the Niners D it is that their DL overpursues like a motherfucker. Bosa had a great game vs GB but also bit on so many playfakes and just Rodgers being really good at stepping away from pressure. The DL operates like this. If they don't have gap discipline against the best running QB ever probably it could be a problem, but the fact that they'll only rush 4 a lot means the LB help should be there like you said

Lol, what? I don't think anyone has a stretch of schedule that even comes close in difficulty to what the Ravens are in right now. Seahawks, Patriots, (can ignore Bengals), Texans, Rams, 9ers, Bills....that's 6 winning teams in 7 weeks and 5 playoff locks. They're gonna shit on the 9ers and Bills. This is already the best team in football and they're improving noticeably every week. Dude scored touchdowns on every drive he played on the road on Monday night against Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. He's blown out both SB teams from last year. He's effectively sat out an entire game this season from not having to play 4th quarters and still leads the league in TDs, and now has a pretty healthy lead in QBR as well.
Keep doubting him though, the Ravens do their best work as underdogs and Lamar is super motivated by that chip on his shoulder. I love how every talking head leading up the Texans game was like "yeah, if I were starting a team today I'd still rather have Deshaun than Lamar." Lol, ok, how'd that work out? You take Deshaun, we'll "settle" for Lamar.
