Nerd Street is hosting an open bracket StarCraft II LAN on July 13th. Starting prize pot is $300, half of all registration fees will be added to the prize pot. The top four players will receive seeds in the upcoming Winter Finals. Sign ups are open now!

Six round Swiss
Single elimination top eight
Prize pool - (Current estimate $605)
1st - 50%
2nd - 25%
3/4th - 12.5%
Cost: $50 early bird | $65 regular | $85 late/at the door
Early Bird - Through May 31st
Regular - June 1st through June 28th
Late - June 29th through 10am July 13th

also i wish top 8 was double elim... imagine running into trigger first round and not making it to season finals even if you might be a top 4 player.

No time to do double elim bracket since the first round is Swiss and this is a one day event, but the season finals will be an open tournament! You're just winning a guaranteed top seed and free entry on top of whatever the prize pot is.

Due to time constraints, we'll skip double elimination. The first round will be Swiss, as it's a one-day event. The season finals will be open, and winning guarantees a top seed, free entry, and the prize pot reward.

@organizers, any chance we will get stormgate lans? A similar format could work I think. Frost Giant said they wanna support grassroots in 2024 and the early access starts in 15 days!
