Still. A guy can change.
Of course, but given the circus that comes with him I would need more than a twitter apology. Probably a psycological assessment along with tons of language in his contract about behavior, therapy (if perscribed) and a during season social media blackout. And on top of that no gauranteed money.
On top of that a huge need at the position because he is a big risk to team chemistry.
With Gronk announcing that he wont be returning for the 2019 season, Josh Gordon leaving, N'keal rusty from being injured most of the season, and Brady having trouble getting on same page as Senu, the Patriots should give AB a 2nd chance. They are the only team that can handle his bs. TB liked playing with AB and even BB dint want to cut him off the roster. I dont that bridge has been entirely burnt down just yet. Yes AB has off the field legal issues and he got off on the wrong foot with Bob Kraft, he hasent committed as egregious acts as Incognito, Burfect, Garrett, and Kapernick pulled off this season.
If anyone is willing it is probably them, it would also probably save them having to fight in court if they have to pay him or not. I think given the need and TB and BB insatiable desire to win, it says a lot about how much of a headache is he that they have not resigned him or kept him in the first place.
I'd need more players from the Patriots talking about how bad he is before I believe he was an issue in the locker room for that team. I think it was just all the extra attention he brought with the media and off field issues that led them to let him go.
Is Clowney considered a bust after being drafted #1 overall years ago? He seems to be always injured and the Texans didn't seem to have any qualms about trading him away to the hawks. His best highlight is still his tackle in college.
clowney does a lot of things that don't translate into stats because he's so damn versatile across the d-line. he's no mack but he's definitely going to get paid in his second contract, so i wouldn't call him a bust at all.
Nebraska blows out Maryland and sad part is, this team is capable of that. There were games where this was flashed and then they imploded. This team, as shown by the Wiscy game, can score and score in bunches.
The players that came in during the second half showed a lot of promise and it gives some kind of hope for next year. On to Iowa next week for a bowl bid (home game). We need that win.
Texas A&M has to have played the most insane array of teams ever. 4 losses, to # 3, 4, 5, 16 with #1 still coming. They probably could have finished 11-1 in the ACC lol
oregon goes down to asu - looking bad for utah who are trying to prove to the committee they deserve to be in the cfp (if they win the pac-12 championship).

TBH I don't think the risk is too high unless Georgia wins the SEC. No-Tua Bama isn't going to get a big bump.
49ers fans are all cheering for Wentz this morning ...nvm Wentz with multiple fumbles and interceptions Eagles have been wildly disappointing this season after signing their qb to a huge extension
The second half of the season is a disappointment for me. A lot of just meh performances all around. Ravens have been the only bright spot really. Unless there are games I'm not watching where it is more competitive and actually fun to watch.
