Viewers intrinsically understand that the ground touching the ball = no catch. That is just the common understanding of a catch, from baseball, to if I threw you some keys to unlock my car.

Commentators are way out line spouting about how amazing Kyler Murray is for a rookie. Everybody knew he would be the #1 overall pick, that he would be the starting QB for the Cards, and that Cliff Kingbury would build his airraid offense around his Kyler's play style. All that taken into consideration and his team has 3 wins and 7 losses with 14tds and 5 interceptions.
Meanwhile in Jacksonville, Gardener Minchew had to abruptly start in first quarter of the first game of the season with no preparation against last year's runaway MVP, no game plan built to cater to his strengths and compensate for his weaknesses, and was able to go 4-5 with a worse roster and a corrupting force (Jalen Ramsey) holding the Jags hostage for half their season, and rack up 13td's to 4 interceptions while playing 1 less game than Murray.
I'm no cards hater or Jags homer but ESPN at least get the story right if you want to call yourself a sports reporter. + Show Spoiler +

As a Jags fan, while I appreciate your praise for them, I think you're being misled by the stats.
The difference is that the Cards are in a harder division with a brand new system to replace the one that was utterly broken last year. They have gone from a historically miserable offense to #8 or something overall DVOA this year. That is a huge improvement. Cards have had arguably a harder schedule, and even played teams like the Ravens and 49ers close. Along with this, it seems that the Cardinals are steadily improving - they actually rack up points and their offense is good.
Minshew looked great in his early games, but struggled with some of his more recent games. The Jags have a better offensive roster than the Cardinals, imo, albeit marginally. Young receivers like Chark, Conley and Westbrook together are better than Fitz/Kirk/Isabella. The problem with the Jags and why they don't get the pop that you think they should get is that they don't score touchdowns against good teams (Jags redzone offense is ugly), which is why they felt they needed to put Foles in to give the offense a spark (which it didn't). Jags O-line has been the main problem for the Jags, and even with Jalen on the team, he wasn't considered the "leader", that has always been Calais Campbell and Myles Jack.
You can't just look at the raw numbers and make a call. Kyler is trending upward while Minshew is trending downward, and the Cards are far exceeding expectations compared to last year, even with the record they have. Many people were shitting on AZ for having Kingsbury/Murray because they saw it as a huge gamble, especially considering they had drafted Rosen last year.

The Dolphins had said they would welcome Walton back after his suspension, but clearly had taken a zero-tolerance policy toward the back. Walton was arrested three times last offseason on numerous charges, including weapons, drugs and battery .

I think its more likely than not that his is guilty, but i like to give him the benifit of the doubt considering what Rueban Foster's ex gf put him thru with making false claims. Dunno why you would think im someone else, I mostly lurk and when i not, I post articles and videos that are germain to the topic, im not a hottake guy that says "OMG Cowboy are the ROCKZZORS!" Williams acts like douche but can play.

AB apology
Just saw ABs apology on twitter to Pats. Basically he wants back in.
I sincerely want AB to succeed in the NFL because he’s talented and brings excitement to the game. Regardless of off-the-field issues (which he seems to be cleared of?) I wouldn’t mind if he came back.

If AB is serious about returning, he should get Brandon Marshall as a mentor. Guy dealt with mental health issues but actively sought out help for it so he knows what it's like.
