He won a lot of straight up games in those TvT series and even though it's not the same matchup, it showcases well the guy can macro as well as anybody (except Inno ofc). On top of that GuMiho has a very favorable score against soO so I wouldn't count him out, I even see him as the favorite ( and with soO's curse on top of this :o ) even though I cheer for soO They probably did not pay attention to his recent form. I still think soo is better but not by much at all. We might have a 4-3 or something. It could also happen that soo gets thrown off by gumi's weird builds.

Judging by his current form he has definitely a good shot but people always look at their previous accomplishments to determine if they're a championship-calibre player or not.

We shall see how he performs next week just a matter of semantics but gumiho actually won his first major tournament earlier this year in march with a 5-2 over Neeb in Ting Open season 3... however, in support of what you probably meant, he has indeed not won a premier tournament.

Yes only 1 GSL win but so many finals, it's pretty impressive interesting question, I think he still wouldn't be top 5 (Inno, Life, Zest, sOs, Mvp have that locked up (in that order)) but he would be right outside, maybe 6th or 7th.

I mean one GSL title and 5 second places would be incredible tbh. If i think about it i wouldn't necessarily say it is worse than winning three titles.

Zest I dont wanna off topic but there is no way you can rank MVP above Inno since he played in the beginning era that most of pro hadn't switched to SC2. Other hand, a match fixer shouldn't be in the list.
