On topic: fuck why all terrans stopping just make some z/p retire (except Jaedong he is a legend so we need to keep him) already. 80% of GM EU terrans are in the 170-200 range, almost no terran left to look up to. Rain, Parting, Fantasy and Soulkey all 'broke their contracts' and left SKT too early which means they're banned from Proleague. At the time I think I read that there was some friction in the team between staff and the banned players which is why they decided to break their contracts. are you sure they are banned? according to this thread http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2/471157-parting-unable-to-play-in-2015-proleague it seems they just have to return to SKT that is if SKT wants them. Maybe there was another update im missing. Yes, they can only play for SKT, but apparently some shit went down which is why they left and why they are being punished for it, so I really doubt SKT would take them back. I may be wrong but I think SKT wanted to avoid drama because none of the players really elaborated on why they broke their contract, but apparently Rain did touch on some of the rumours: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/2irs5r/rain_partially_confirms_that_frictions_between/.

Make way, foreigners coming through! Things will be much better soon enough.
... that's the idea, right?

As a side note, Rain has said FanTaSy will rest a bit and go straight to military. Also, http://twitter.com/CloakingBanshee/status/681124398192001024 CloakingBanshee from twitter is going to have (I guess) a last fanmeeting with FanTaSy sometime in January. "Favorite and mention" if any of you guys wanna go see him

lol. Nice accusation, I didn't said anything for Rain but this is so obvious even without insider info.

This wave of retirements is sad, but not at all unexpected after what Blizzard did with WCS 2016.

Meanwhile, at stuchiu's place:
"Ah, finally done with that article. Now I can get to writing one about Rain! Lemme open TL.net first and...
No. No. Nononononono. NO. Not another one! How am I supposed to write all these articles?"

First flash, now fantasy

Sad times for the SC community. Not really anything unexpected though considering how SC is doing nowadays and the new WCS system. I wonder who is retiring next..

Not surprising since theres no chance to get a visa for korean players to participate in the WCS circuit if your organisation is based in Switzerland.
