Incredible work as always!
DotA balloons, I'll wait for that, especially Doombringer or maybe Clockwerk or maybe Alchemist or maybe... nvm.

This. I'd definitely watch a few videos of you making or even just planning the build. Your average balloon person might know all the standard animals but learning about the insight required to make something no one has really done before (like a dota hero) would be awesome.

EDIT : Please do a Tassadar or an Archon one day~

amazing work! Indeed would be cool to see some SC inspired art too =D

Pretty cool interview! I didn't know you got into balloon twisting in 2009, seeing how awesome are your sculptures I thought you had been doing it forever.
Enjoy your trip!

Spotlight and all this love!! Thanks everyone!
It was 2007 when I first learned to blow up the twisting balloons (they are hard to blow up or were for me) I was into magic at the time and had no interest in being a balloon person. I did purchase balloons at the WCG 2007 Seattle World Finals event and D4D and I tried to make some stuff I had bought them more to challenge people to trying to blow them up, as an afterthought on a trip to Pike place and the magic shop under pike place. A couple years later is when I actually saw there was art to be done with balloons and it all started when I meet other balloon people at a local jam!!
I have done a few SC units throught the years. Some were even fetured on DAY 9 's big HOTS event I think it was... Ive done many of the players (years ago so I need to update them!) for TL and even MLG and Homestory cup balloons.... Check out my facebook/Instagram etc....
That would be cool to stream making balloons I have been thinking about trying it but then feel like I have too much I want to buy for ballooning and not enough to spend on a streaming set up.... I could start small and cheap though.... Maybe I can pick some brains of the techies at ESL!! I am not a techie guy ... I just play games surf the web T_T .. Hey Iam old is my excuse...
Thanks so much and please ask any questions and I will deff. take pics and post them here!!

What? You will be at ESL One? So I can get back to being a kid and get a balloon??? What figures are you doing there? So from your interview 3-5min, 8-10min or bigger things!?

Doing the more detailed creations I figure most things I will be making (for the attendees) are going to take 15-25 minutes on average (doing DOTA2 and other video game characters) I hope to get as much practice as I can before hand to help in the construction of some larger displays as well as try to quicken my time as well as broaden my base knowledge of characters and possible ways of constructing them.
I will be trying to work as fast as possible and get as many balloons to as many people as I can! And hope to at least give anything a shot... sometimes when I try to make things just off of pictures and no prior practice they can come out looking a bit funky usually passable but sometimes its a mess...But I am upfront and try my best!!
Make sure you have a photo of what your looking to get as I am unsure if my phone/internet access will be working at that point (If I can get my phone set up to work overseas before hand then it will be fine, Last trip I had some trouble getting my phone working over there!)

Because I hate roaming I can't tell you about US phone support in Germany... "our" Telecom is selling there though; maybe that helps...
But good to know! Can I already request a Meat Boy?

Just out of curiosity: Did you ever ship/mail one of your creations? Have you ever tried flying one of your creations with a drone?
