I'd like an "engaged" romance when it was actually the couple doing the engaging one of these days.

That sounds absolutely awful. I've watched porn films with a less forced premise.

So i found it kind of funny that you actually read that alread. Also, the whole thing is ecchi (i'm guessing). I only read like 3 or 4 chapters and each one is like Recap the synopsis then ecchi for the remaining chapter...Rinse and repeat.
Terraformars .... Meh. I feel like they abandoned any hope of having a coherent story and spent like 7 or 8 episodes on introducing different bug / animal type characters. What's the point to any of this anymore? survival? Still, the fighting is decent...but not amazing. And the characters, i really just don't care about (even though all they've tried to do is develop characters...they just did a bad job at it). Very disappointed with this one.

watched a bit of Akatsuki no Yona yesterday. Looks like it's quite the fun ride. The fights scenes in the first two episodes were pretty good as well and I'm interested to see how Yona develops by the end. + Show Spoiler +One thing is for sure though, her transformation based on the end of episode 2 when she was standing above that army is unreal.

I'm loving it so far. Think it and Cross Ange are the biggest surprises this season. Both got a ton of character development and interesting story.

Probably spent too much money on Seiyuus, since the anime is overflowing with big names. But at the very least, it seems that Twintails is getting the "lets fix it for the BD/DVD release" treatment.

It was just the last 2 episodes that had absolute horrible visuals...

I have no idea what that is... probably another anime I should watch at some point. KnK is Kara no Kyoukai. The original "ufotable is a god" anime. A LN series written by Nasu(FS/N author). Supposedly the LN aren't that great but the studio did a fantastic job animating it. One of my favorite series to date. Many people are put off because it's a movie format but the total runtime is actually akin to a 2 cor show. I just freaking love KnK dammit. Lol freaking Shirou, what ever possessed nasu to have that thing as the MC, you don't need a foil of stupidity to have interesting characters either. It's not that the animation isn't comparable, it's just the one is a lot older so I thought that UBW would an improvement over it and it pains me to hear people not knowing about KnK.
Without Shirou as the protag the routes don't really mean as much. He's a broken person, living by a borrowed ideology because he feels too guilty to have his own desires. Each route addresses it in a different way.
He's stupid because he doesn't actually care about what he's doing. He cares more about the act of helping than what he's actually helping with. His whole "being a hero of justice" is just a crutch he uses to continue living.
I won't deny he's naive and stupid, but at the very least he has reasons for it, unlike most protags that act like him.
