Finally someone brave enough to say what we're all thinking

This poster has no idea of how the strengths of men-women are different but complementary.
Yes you are good at games, and most females are not. Men are programmed to conquer, defeat, achieve with one goal in mind and a lazer focus. This makes us good at singular tasks during things like games, sports, careers, etc.
Women are good at other things. They can sense when there is a threat to their families or person that is mostly invisible to men. It's like a 'sixth sense', or 'women's intuition' so-to-speak. They are great multi-taskers and can deal with many different little problems at once. They have a nurturing spirit that is a gift to the children they raise who are the next generation. Think little Johnny goes to dad when they get a boo-boo? No, it's mom they call for.
You think these skills are worthless? You are not thinking about the goals of a family unit. To raise the next generation. You have only your single male perspective. It is naive and it is clear you have not been in a long-term relationship with a female, let alone had the resposibility of raising kids and having the 'birds-eye-view' of how a family is run in the long term.
It takes both male and female to do this effectively, and together we are greater than the sum of the parts. Get out of your tiny little box and look at the bigger picture.

Firstly, jeesus christ people. These comments, e.g. the one above me, are so cringeworthy. Do we really need a disclaimer that he isnt showcasing his own opinion, but trying to hold a mirror in front of idiots on the internet who trashtalk women in esports? Secondly, GRL GAMRS <3<3<3XOXO

It's pretty obviously satire, but TL is sometimes embarrassingly oversensitive when it comes to gender issues, so I can't say I'm surprised.

had me going until SAMMICH.

haha, I enjoyed this

Damn if i had 1 cent every time someone on TL didn't get sarcasm, i'd be richer than the winner of TI4... (plus posting in every thread about a terran win would be soooooooo lucrative ) Anyway was less funny than the previous one, but still quite good. It just gets better if you read it with Pyrion's voice :D

This was the first truly funny post in this thread.

It's evident that he's TRYING to do that but the delivery is just sub-par and cringeworthy. If you're going to do satire, it needs to be done right and this just looks like a 14 year old wrote it.

We can argue about wether or not he does a good job with his satire (although I find it to be decent) but its pretty obvious he is not serious/ having a problem with women.

Wow, the amount of hate this funny blog gets is out of proportion. He is obviously being satirical and he's portraying the stereotypes men in games usually have of women.

For the rest it's a subpar blog for the featured section. It's not funny, and there doesn't seem to be another catch than the satirical element. Seeing the posthistory of this particular user, i have little faith that the level will increase.

Basically there are a bunch of people from the Men's Rights subreddit who feel that their opinions are being unfairly represented in the OP ;p Satire is usually pretty hyperbolic though, and you do have to go quite far to exaggerate the already insane and ridiculous opinions of many sexist TLers.
ijab
For the rest it's a subpar blog for the featured section. I know it's misleading and no one has bothered to fix it yet, but featured blogs does not mean individual entries, it means the whole blog aka the blogger is featured. I could post an empty blog and it would show up in the featured section. You don't have to get worked up that sometimes featured bloggers post mediocre blogs.

Just fyi, almost everyone understood it was a joke. There are more people in the thread saying "omg I can't believe people didn't understand it was a joke" than there are people thinking it wasn't.

I thought it was satire, then I considered taking it seriously because of the comments. I am really easy to influence I guess.
Its an okay read, but I think it is too over the top to "change" the thinking of someone that has a more... managable/less direct version of this view. I actually kind of think the problem is smaller in sc2 than in cs because scarlett (but I rarely play sc2, I only watch it, so I might be wrong)

Intense troll post.
Or joke, or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
EDIT: I see we're going for "satire."
