…but I don’t want them ANYWHERE near my video game experiences!
Let’s take a big knife and cut through this giant apple to the core of the issue; ladies, it’s time you took to your perfume room or dressing chamber or chaise-longue or whatever it is you do with your spare time and left eSports to the menfolk.
Be honest, have you ever lost to a girl at anything? Me neither. Unless it’s arguments about wallpaper patterns or curtains or what time the kids should stay up until or whether it’s ok to let them play with my shuriken collection. In which case – fair enough – that’s a ladies domain and you’re gonna lose. But whatever, it’s a shit domain. It’s like in a game where there’s a dude who is the King of a shithole and he’s like “THIS IS MY DOMAIN” and I want to say “that’s fine your domain is ass” but that dialogue option is never offered.
When I said “have you ever lost to a girl at anything” just then at the start of that paragraph by the way I was talking to the men reading this. Any women reading this will have lost to each other a TON because they have to play girl sports like netball and field hockey but I mean, a mouse would probably beat another mouse at a lifting contest, and that sure as heck doesn’t mean she could then go toe-to-tiny-toe with the Hulk, does it?
Just because a mouse – or a woman – is good at a thing doesn’t mean it/she should be allowed to play with the big dogs, aka MEN.
Let’s look at games. Take a game like, say, Dota 2. I’ve probably played with women only three times ever and every time it was fucking miserable. They whine and moan and talk about flowers. The whole time we’re laning the girls are literally looking at the little squirrels that run around the Dota map and going “awwww” and I’m like “YO. STACK AND PULL. AND HOW BOUT A DANG SAMMICH” but they didn’t listen, and when one of them mis-cast her ultimate she blamed her nails.
WHAT THE ACTUAL.
Which brings us to tournaments. If I was starting an eSports tournament there’s a few simple rules but the main one is “no women”. I’d probably call them “females” which kinda puts them in their place a bit more. “No females”. I think the word ‘women’ is too empowering because it has the word ‘men’ in it. ‘Females’ implies they are mere animals for breeding and I like it that way.
But then again ‘females’ is the word ‘males’ with the word ‘fe’ stuck on the front.
‘Fe’.
If you said that it sounds like someone who doesn’t give a shit.
“Hey let’s go to the shops.” “Fe.” “Fuck you then.”
The fact that ‘fe’ is the chemical symbol for the element iron is hilarious because it’s actually so IRONIC and it also involves iron. Iron is the toughest thing aside from adamantium (like Wolverine’s skeleton) I mean…..that’s the sort of revelation men have on a daily basis. Do women? No.
Would one of them come up with an idea that would change the meta? No. Would one of them say “team, I’m taking void offlane and getting and aghs”? if they did, in a word I’d be STUNLOCKED if one of them ever said that. I’d just stand there dumbfounded and wonder if this was a ventriloquist or something.
They cannot compete with men so why let them? I already know the result and so do you. It’s pointless. It’s like having an arm wrestling contest between a bear and a blueberry muffin. The muffin is fucked. The bear is gonna eat that muffin and then fuck its muffin girlfriend in the butt. Why subject me, the viewer, to that? (Although I can’t pretend I wouldn’t be curious about watching a bear fuck a muffin in the ass)
So yeah. Let’s keep women out of our man competitions or Manpetitions if you like. Dudetests. CHAPionships.

To me it seems like you are uncomfortable around women.

I... um...... what happened to make you this way?

seems like satire on the iesf decision to host several male-only tournaments.

It's not really that funny ... everyone can imitate barbarians in an attempt to prove something , and it's not that everyone who is against women in e-sports think this way. My argument against it that if a woman is good enough to compete, she should, but the fact that people will glorify them for doing nothing but being female is very disturbing. Imagine a caster casting a Na'vi game and joking about Xboct being (4) or yolo or doing a bad move... now imagine if Xboct was female in that situation ... you would get 20k posts about sexism by the 3 female viewers and 19997 white knights , everything would turn into a bigger disaster than it already is... everything positive or negative about that female player/players would somehow be sex related ... Dendi didn't chase Hotchick2019? It's because she's hot. Na'vi constantly ganks Hotchick2019? It's because they think that the chick is their weakness, sexist pigs! Lets have a view of 4guysandHotchick2019 , 20 minutes of camera on Hotchick2019. It might eventually end up being normal and tolerated , but for about a year chaos would rule.

this is hilarious, is this a parody on opinions that lead to the hearthstone tournament decision? Or are you a sad little man that stays inside all day watching lesbian porn and secretly wanting to partake?

Thought the same, but it's not that great or useful

1) People are glorified for reasons that could be argued to be bad all the time. For not coming from Korea. For playing a certain race. For using certain strats instead of others. For switching races. For having a personnality. For biting italian players. Side-glory is not a problem, it's just sports fact. 2) Typically the situation you're describing isn't likely to happen in eSports unless the comment of the caster warrants it. Remember when Terry interviewed that guy in the audience because he was black and got fired for it? He got support from the majority of the community, not hate. 3) If there is a sexist reaction to the presence of a woman here, the problem is the sexist reaction, not the presence of the woman... (to think I have to say that ~~)

Javus, you have a real problem of sexism. I want to believe you are goodhearthed toward women, but the fact remains.
People are glorified for a lot of reasons, and in most cases nobody really makes a list. For instance we all know that pro-player popularity and their "merits" are very loosely related. Beeing handsome, english-speaking, funny, charismatic, etc... matters equally if not more in a lot of cases. But again, in most cases nobody cares, and if someone's does I will often try to rationalize his/her taste (often rightfully so), ie he/she will find that "interacting with the stream audience" actually is a skill, and that his/her favorit streamer diserves his/her popularity in the end. Quite unsurprinsingly, this concern became a real problem when those new comers are from an underrepresented gender/race/...
But let me joke a bit with your statement : "My argument against it that if a foreigner is good enough to compete,he should, but the fact that people will glorify them for doing nothing but being foreigner is very disturbing."
In fact, it's not a joke at all. The comparison is not that unworthy. Think about the "korean environment effect": you are included in a peer group that strongly promote competition, while entitling you to be a part of it. You live surounded by people who share your passion and are ready to walk the road with you. If you are a foreigner, you have to make such a long trip to find that kind of people and gather with them. IN most cases it just doesn't happen or doesn't happen enough, and you never raise to your "true" level. In e-sport community women are the foreigners among the foreigners...

I'm not sure where I am supposed to pick up on the satirical tones here... Just sounds like you have lady issues.
Don't really know why this is featured.
EDIT: Now I get the satire. But meh.

Never understood his silly blogs in the first place nor why they are featured, i guess now everyones catching on? lol.

This must be satire, right guys? Right?
|
totaly agree with this post

It's satire or trolling for sure as you can tell from the goofy examples, but I didn't derive any enjoyment from it.
There are people who think like that and we can laugh about them, certainly. Have to write funny things though.
