I really like the new event tracker. I might miss the multi-gaming, now that sc2 evolved and became interesting again, but i think this change adds enough potential to be worth it.

If this really does end up being so terrible and awful that it rips the community apart, they can always roll it back. It's just a website!
In the meantime, you can't control whether its like this not. Venting is healthy and normal, so hopefully after this brief exhortation you can try to make the best of things - because now you have TWO sites to browse!

As long as community forums/tech support/blogs are shared across all TL sites then it's perfectly fine.

I suppose I'll get used to things in time, but I realize I won't be visiting TL enough to keep it on my bookmarks so I removed it and will just have liquiddota. It would be nice if we had the option to change the color theme of the various Liquid sites to the other, and like endy said more shared forums across the sites.

Yeah, I think this is probably a beneficial change in the long run to really build a liquid Dota community site that can stand on its own, and bring in the Dota crowd. The layout and update to graphics are also beautiful.
At the same time I feel your pain. I liked coming to my everything esports site, and sometimes if I forget to click the Dota or Hearthstone tabs for a while I feel disconnected. That being said for all the true fans of each genre the sites won't be neglected. The casuals might miss out and i feel like they will just gravitate towards the one particular sub site, than maybe no longer branching out like they would have previously.
Either way, the future is now, time to adapt.

U get used to it i guess, ah well.
|
Again, just have the general/tech/blogs etc forums shared between subsites and TL will feel connected again
In the meantime, this has pretty priceless features to make up for that

It feels like a ghost town in here

I was really starting to like smash stuff too.... I liked the idea of just disabling sc2/league and having brood war/dota2/smash show!
