I think that a hard cap of posts while making it not mandatory to post is fine, but wouldn't cry over silent nights either.

I don't know why it would matter, but apparently separating my lines can bug people so you never know.

Yes but I can't guarantee my entire team is willing to put in work at night too. It's easier overall to have a day off to plan the strategy going forward and discuss night kills.
Individually it doesn't matter much, but for the team as whole, unless you have an amazing scumteam, it's just easier to not let town talk during nights.

In general the less the mafia have to talk the better. A really good mafia player might be able to misdirect the town by playing actively, but that can backfire very easily especially if town is giving a lot of scrutiny to peoples limited night posts
