Maybe it was just me but I don't think I was hampered in any way by the post restriction and I didn't feel that my read on anyone this game was hampered by the post restriction. What it did do was make it a lot easier for me to follow and reread when I didn't have to go through pages and pages of idiotic spam and ego fighting and general uselessness. All of this was prevented. Of course it would be awesome if people could just not do that but that's just not the case. I didn't follow the Golden Sun game at all but it has like 150 pages in one day, I can't follow that, I can't play that, and it certainly isn't necessary. I didn't play a 15+ player game in years because I simply cannot keep up. Some people might like a more spammy game and good on them, I very much enjoyed this posting restriction though it does not necessarily have to be implemented exactly like it was in this game.

It's also a new thing, I'm sure it'll work out even better in future games when people get used to it.

Yeah, it forces people to save posts. That's fine. I don't THINK i did a great job with posting giant walls to try and get normal amounts of text into less posts, i COULD have consolidate much much more. But everyone signed up for a game that said "THERE'S A POST RESTRICTION YA DING DONGS" and we got exactly what we signed up for.

The only thing missing was using...post counts and post donations in analysis? People who used posts freely, started saving towards end, were willing to donate when needed, were all town I think? Some of that may just be that we had a very lurky/inactive scumteam for most of the time bar poofter, but I think that if we played more games with restrictions we'd see that there are some plusses, it's not just "haha you can't post any more." DEFINITELY made the game easier to follow and read.
