Basically, the problem is that the average damage was scaled back to account for level 70 items. ilvl70s should have the high average damage you are used to, but for now until exp release we are just screwed as far as legendaries and sets go. I am a WD and this is very annoying for me too. I have found four mojos and all have a top end of 140 damage, so they are essentially worthless compared to rares (decrease of roughly 10-20% dps). Your best bet is crafting one or just waiting for a nice drop. It does suck though because wizards and WDs would be much stronger with good average damage rolls on legendary off-hands. The rares aren't that bad though at least, I believe they can roll from like 30-400.

Legendary sources/mojo's right now are garbage if they don't bring along some gamebreaking effects(eg. +2 missile on mirrorball) that you can build around, and even then it might not make up for the dps loss.

Items from lvl 60 are obviously obsolete and will be changed quickly at 70. And I'm guessing that the experience gained after level 70 will be much much higher, so whatever you amount to now, you will be able to do much quicker after 70. Right?

There is never any reason to play other then for fun. You keep your paragon exp the items you will switch out

Like they hate those stats so much they don't even want you to find old versions on the AH, it's really ridiculous. ah thanks for clarifying

i reset after i killed diablo and did all the way up to butcher in hopes to get some nice loot for my troubles. But that jerk dropped blues only. I was hoping to get a legendary for the act boss again, but he didnt even give me a rare.

Also do I have big disadvantages in the addon now compared to those that played all the time and geared up and got their paragon levels? Or is there some kind of reset when teh addon comes out? Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

Is there anything I should do now before the addon comes out? Level this paragon thing? Or buy certain stuff while the auction house still exists? Level 70 gear completely eclipses level 60 (except for absolute BiS level 60 legendaries, which might barely match low-end 70 gear). Level 60 crafting materials can't be used for level 70 recipes, gems can drop 4-5(?) grades higher. Gold will still be useful for crafting/enchanting, so you could stockpile, but it won't be a big deal. Paragon levels will carry over, but you get those fast enough, and the gains from those aren't enough to make or break a character.

The small things would be paragon levels (but probably you will get XP much faster at lvl 70 anyway, so what you get now will not matter much) and gold. Only other thing I can think of is that if you have good gear you will have an easier time getting up and farming at lvl 70, so you may be a few hours faster at the start... But no, time spent now will mostly be "wasted" in the sense that you can improve your char equally much with a lot less time once the expansion is out.

it is only if you want a big epeen that it matters because you will be the first group of people to get max char, best gear, etc. you'll have that 15% advantage over everyone else buying it on the first day.
