if so. i'm an extremely casual RPG-er. great levels of post sales support by Blizzard and patch 2.0.1 gets my money on release day for the RoS expansion. i think they did a great job with 2.0.1. it is a great improvement in game play and a fundamental overhaul of so many game mechanics.. it was a ballsy move and it has paid off. the total revamp of the game seems to me to indicate the previous lead designer guy, Jay Wilson, totally sucked balls. that's just speculation on my part though. interesting contrast in the fates of lead designers.. Dustin Browder gets promoted to VP ... and Jay Wilson kinda just fades into the wood work. i can't wait for RoS and i'm having more fun with 2.0.1 than i had with any previous patch of D3. | ||

You're right, the interface I saw came up with a random list of replacement stats with one being what you started with. I don't know how the costs scale, but the video I saw they were already in the hundred of thousands for a single roll. In any case, it's the new gold sink since you can theoretically doing it infinite times until you get that roll you like and even selecting 'do nothing' consumes enchanting mats. And you'll probably being doing this with all your gear (unlike say crafting replacement shoulders). | ||

Reason I ask is that if the roll is bad I might not want to use it on day 1 for the crusader so if I can safely make some today to see if I need to grind more that would be best.. | ||
