As a translator, what is your impression of how Fantasy speaks? I am lower than chobo level in Korean, but it feels to me like his word choice, rhetoric, and especially delivery, are more "refined" than many other pros. In other words, it feels like he talks more like an academic than the others. I just can't tell how much of that is due to personality and vocal quality, I guess. Either way, I think based on these interviews that being a university professor might be a great career path for him, even if he does strike me as a bit too soft-spoken for big lecture halls. | ||

Either way, I think based on these interviews that being a university professor might be a great career path for him, even if he does strike me as a bit too soft-spoken for big lecture halls. theres nothing about his word choice thats more academic than others tbh. the biggest difference is the entire q&a is done formally, as if hes giving answers in a job interview. its definitely rare to see an ex pro responding to fans about a lighthearted topic such as a personal q&a in such formality, which is probably why it seems like his speech seems more "refined". he could just be a better speaker in general, given that he almost never stuttered or pondered his choice of vocabulary, but i have some suspicions that the entire video was scripted beforehand. the absence of almost any emotion in his answers makes me think he didnt come up with those responses on the spot. | ||
