Flash only took one map? After his PL showing I had some faith in him to advance too, this is why I anti'd him in the first place. I really have to question where it went wrong for him.
They call it "The Maru Effect".

Today was a double terran group as well.. And we still have 10 protoss players waiting. I mean, there will be more than 1 for sure but it is really looking bad so far. Korea and GSL was always a place you could find a lot of terrans, it was never like this.

I just read what you guys wrote on the first Flash game. Was it that bad ? How did go the other set ? I just can't find it (too many pages in this thread).
Can someone summerize games ?
I understood this : Game 1 was : "Flash needs to learn how to deal with DT". Game 2 was : "Flash was outmacroed hard and forgot that you need armory to get past +1"
Am i correct ?
How did the second set go ?
Depends, if you only read the Toss comments, that'd indeed be your conclusions But Flash didn't play well today. Well i play Zerg so both of the "race comments" are irrelevent to me @ETisME So did Flash finally took a third against protoss ? Or is he playing same style as PL ? How did he do vs BravO. i wathed Monday's game (or it tuesday) on PL and he was a really solid Terran. he basically took a third, sniped yonghwa third, but never bother gotta more upgrades. he aimed to pull a tonnes of scvs to finish the game off as yonghwa rebuild his nexus (I think he lost it twice?) but yonghwa army was fully upgraded and flash just didn't have enough units/vikings and lost everything

True, but some of the other double Terran group has slight weaker opponents.

Sry I dont want to think about those games. g1 DT and every possible tech into deathball. G2 every possible tech and greed into deathball You should include the failed scv allin from Flash in G2 which kinda reset'ed the armies
aye silly Flash tryed to all in since he had way more army supply and buffed it even more with his scvs. Yonghwa didnt have storm but he won the engagement anyways because he microed beatifully and overcame the odds with sick colossus control!

well more than 1 probably since inno should get out, more than 2 will be complicated. You remember when the P got a fanclub because they were like 5P in code S?

So basically inno HAS to get through and hopefully fantasy!

I'm happy Yonghwa won this as convincingly as he did, he may very well be #1 underrated toss in korea. I'm also happy Leenock pulled it trough with a 2011 GSL final style (those baneling traps were so sick) but I don't think he will go very far this season. I'm not surprised by BrAvO as he is one of the most underrated terrans in korea along with Dream and perhaps Bbyong (that for some reason, everyone forgets he has been in Code S for a while). I feel bad for Flash especially because he shoudn't have lost that game vs BrAvO on Yeonsu... hope to see him next season though.

well, it wasn't just the stalker+colossus micro that saved his colossi while not losing shots with them, it was also the 3-3 vs 1-1 which basically explains the supply difference (700-700 more in upgrades; do the math with 100/25/2, 50/0/1, 100/100/2 units).

Funny how you forget to mention Flash was 1/1 vs a 3/3 Protoss army.
