Flash had one of the easiest groups ever (sSak, Classic and Where) in the PDPop MSL, but got knocked out in 2 straight sets. He got pissed and won the next one by sweeping every game in the semis and finals.
It's OK, guys.

Can someone check if the VODs in the OP are the correct ones?

I just read what you guys wrote on the first Flash game. Was it that bad ? How did go the other set ? I just can't find it (too many pages in this thread).
Can someone summerize games ?
I understood this : Game 1 was : "Flash needs to learn how to deal with DT". Game 2 was : "Flash was outmacroed hard and forgot that you need armory to get past +1"
Am i correct ?
How did the second set go ?
Sry I dont want to think about those games. g1 DT and every possible tech into deathball. G2 every possible tech and greed into deathball You should include the failed scv allin from Flash in G2 which kinda reset'ed the armies aye silly Flash tryed to all in since he had way more army supply and buffed it even more with his scvs. Yonghwa didnt have storm but he won the engagement anyways because he microed beatifully and overcame the odds with sick colossus control! well, it wasn't just the stalker+colossus micro that saved his colossi while not losing shots with them, it was also the 3-3 vs 1-1 which basically explains the supply difference (700-700 more in upgrades; do the math with 100/25/2, 50/0/1, 100/100/2 units). Do you mean that the upgrade difference is worth 700 army supply ? If it's what you're saying it's not that big. Never thought of that.
I meant the way for flash to get so far ahead in supply is not to invest into upgrades. 700/700 is what the 2-2 and 3-3 cost for yongwha, money he could have spent into units like flash had he stayed 1-1, or (the standard scenario) vis verca, that flash could not have spend on army had he gone for the upgrades. And 700/700 is in the mathematically best scenario 7medivacs == 14 supply, but in a more realistical one, a mixture of MMM that is probably going to be equal to ~25supply that flash would not have and therefore the gap in supply is pretty much explained and flash was not half as ahead as people make it sound (if he was ahead at all, since I don't really see him having many options apart from allinning with that upgrade disadvantage, even after the Templar Archive snipe).

Yeah Flash was never really ahead in the 2nd game and 1st one was complete stomp.

He also lost to Duckdeok, Naniwa etc. Solid players but not Dear or Parting or Rain.

How about Polt? I'm super-biased and think it's amazing. Polt was the first one going marauder heavy style that you see taeja and maru employ. Am I correct in that?
TLPD shows 70% TvP winrate for Polt.

cant ever count Polt out but he hasnt looked to good against the better P players. I think even Polt will suffer after being away from a proper training enviroment for so long.
