jesus this format is hardcore. code A is the most cutthroat ever. top 2 -> code S , bottom 2 -> code B, big difference.

I personally like it better than the AM and EU. Right now for them it's just 1 bo5. winner goes to Premier and loser to qualifiers. At least with a group you can't get screwed over as easily by 1 tough opponent or weak matchup

It's certainly possible to get by with 3 hours of sleep on an average night (with more some nights). Probably not healthy in the long run, but he was pretty clear about his sleep - or rather the lack of it. I don't see any reason for him to lie about it, really, and I don't think he would.

Yeah, 3 hours definitely is enough to keep most of your faculties, I regularly do that for relatively long periods of time.
|
Yeah.. Flash is officially screwed. He does well in prepared matches but when he doesn't prepare for a specific opponent he seems to get crushed. Maybe thats why he never made it far in Code S?
Now that Code A is just Up/Down matches this may be the end of Flash in the GSL.
|
Wow Twitch is such a crap, VODs don't even work most of the time. This will be the last time I paid for GSL if things stay like this. :[
|
Want to know something cool? At the moment Code S looks like this:
10 Protoss 6 Zerg 1 Terran
Hopefully a few more terrans can push through!

Maybe in the short term but not long term. Don't forget Polt travels so the jet lag only makes things worse because his circadian rhythm and sleep sucks are messed up.

Poor Bravo It's hard to be inspired when you have this to compare too... ... Plus terrans have crappy fan boys.

Also, people should shut up about "Flash was never good in SC2". Flash losing to Yonghwa and Bravo = slump, these are players he would have been strongly favored against half a year ago. Personally I had figured that after his abominable performances in the second half of 2013 he would have returned to form by now and qualify for GSL Code S and be dominant in proleague, but it seems not. I don't have a window into Flash's mind anyway, so no idea how he is feeling about the game these days. His play seems lacking in confidence though, it's not like the Flash of old. those are either trolls or don't have a clue, flash was consistently in ro16, which is better than every other terran besides maru and bogus. People make fun of him because of unnecessary overhype but realistically he's a force to reckon with. Bomber made it to the ro8 twice and won season 2 finals, I would put that aboce ro16 3times. And other terrans playing international, such as Taeja (who made it to 9 premier semifnals, winning 5 tournaments), Polt (2x WCS NA champion) and MMA (during the second half of the year, not during the first[WCS runs, DHacks]). I´m not saying he is not good, he is a former three times Code S ro16 player and MLG finalist, it is obvious, that he can play the game, but people hyped him as one of the top 3 players (according to power rank) in the world at times, which was simply wrong.

Goddamnit Flash what the fuck

It's just not possible because you'll eventually end up passing out.
