But looking forward to the event, I hope some of the chinese players manage to edge out a win against their Korean opponents! There was an open bracket. This is the Ro8 composed of 3 players from the open bracket, 3 Korean invites, and 1 invite by the sponsor, and one from a wildcard tournament (not sure why this one was organized, if I remember correctly, there were supposed to be 2 invites by sponsor instead of one). e:typo

Replays of the open bracket are available from Ro40 for the 1v1 tournament and Ro24 for the 2v2 tournament. http://ao.scntv.com/ Scroll down, select 1v1 or 2v2 (there are actually tabs, not headers of columns as we could first think) Then X 进 Y means RoX with Y players qualifying. For MSL Survivor groups: X组 = Group X 胜者战 = Winners match 败者战 = Losers match 最终战 = Final match VODs are available at: http://sc.scntv.com/vod/yzsc/ . Note: all games containing "外卡赛" are part of the wildcard tournament won by Movie.

I remember reading something about bisu participating in the old thread. don't think so, unless they secretly invited bisu to shanghai the problem is lag, the sponsor constantly declares his willingness to sponsor events involving koreans (he even says he's willing to host Korean-only tournaments, with proper Chinese cast), but the none of this can happen because of lag (i.e. they can't have Chinese observers/players in the same game with Koreans).

I have F91 as a contact on QQ, he works for SCNTV. I asked if they wanted to open an English stream for that Huge Tournament in Guangzhou, even with just an ob position from an online community caster and SCNTV said they don't need one. I imagine it would be the same for this tournament. However, no one can stop you from pirate-restreaming their content to twitch. Now I feel like my education is worthless.
