Less people watching = less people interested = worse conditions for EPS = less money for ESL
easy as that.

I like Mori as person, as caster I believe he is not as good as he could be, but I did tell him face to face. I think he improved greatly and when I couldn't watch him a couple of yeras back, I could certainly watch a stream of him nowadays. He got a lot more clue about the game now compared to his past and certainly is enjoyable even though I find some stuff strange haha. Everyone has his own style. Now about casting games / finals. He has the rights to cast EPS so he's the main caster. He gets to pick a game he wants to cast and obviously the finals and we can cast the rest. While I personally believe its sad, because I grew up casting EPS actually and I've been doing it for a long time (not even mentioning TaKe who did it for all seasons besides the first (wc3) in which he played himself) so... I can understand people that say TaKe+NarutO (which honors me a lot, thank you!) are EPS. I hope Mori doesn't suffer any hate/negativity from the decision that ESL made. He obviously is a competitor in the scene and a professional caster who needs to earn money as well. If its a smart choice by ESL, everyone can decide on their own. So while I personally find it sad and wish it would be different, I hope the scene doesn't go nuts about it Take care and see you tuesday

Our goal was to cover more matches and cause a bit more competition to improve quality for all viewers. If all casters are allowed to cast the 'best' matches, the effect is weaker and we might end up with two streams for the same amount of matches shown as before. This season we decided to get Mori on board as the main caster since he did a very good job with the German WCS casts. He has a different style than TakeTV and we wanted to give it a shot. For next season, we might re-evaluate our strategy, but for now, lets just enjoy the shows and the games, because both are doing a good job in their respective way to cast. Stream-discussion aside, Hanfy recently called all EPS participants "easy to beat". Will be interesting to watch his performance tonight. Any bets?

Also, while one could argue about playoffs or tournaments of higher importance, I feel like double elimination would be too much for a weekly cup that is played online and has only a couple hundred Euros prizemoney. But that's just my personal opinion.

I dont call "micro" if someone does pre-split and one crucial emp. That was a shower of EMP:s and very nice zoning with the vikings while kiting backwards with bio. That's kind of the definition of micro.

Unit control including pre-splitting and correctly casting emps on HTs is a crucial part of the whole micro thing.

I don't know what they said as I did not pay attention to the stream but just generally that does not make sense to me... of course I could be wrong and you are right but I stand by it that it would not make any sense.

It's closer to 'real' sports, which makes it easier to understand if you are not an esport-enthusiast in the first place and it makes every single game more important. But that's just my personal opinion. Well, I don't think it is right to count this as a weekly cup. Yes, it takes place every week, but only during a special season. You can't compare it to something like go4sc2 sunday, which I would say is a weekly cup. But either way, I wonder what the opinion of the players are. I mean if they are against playing double elim, then there is no reason to play it. Though if they want to play double elim, then there is no reason not to play it (as I doubt that the casters will mind).
