Like anyone who has been on this fourm for awhile knows who the good posters are and follows what they say. This is basically me. When someone posts something stupid and doesn't listen to reason I find it rather easy to ignore and take in the more pertinent information from forum veterans. + Show Spoiler [ramble] + I think the discussion around stupid ideas can be important: simpler stupid things can be taken care of by semi-vets and for complex stupid things vets can step in and educate newbies, readers, and semi-vets all. If demoralized vets pull out of GD things can only get worse, it's a brain drain. There is certainly room for more elitist jerks style banning here where if you post something super stupid and don't back it up or refuse to back it up you get banned. But that will only work if vets are willing to engage in GD discussions as a result. Talking about vets vs stupid though has me thinking about when zulu_nation was arguing back when T.R.O.L.L.S. started and even before that, that newbies just can't possibly understand the game the way pros do and so pros can't really explain it to them. I think in some ways he's right but at the same time my favorite discussions have come from high level analysis that simply blew my mind wide open to stuff I'd never thought about before, regardless of my ability to understand it, like when I first discovered the pro-scene and day9 dailies back in BW. I know day9 got his share of criticism but watching him was far cooler than giving up and saying "well I'm a terrible newbie so I can only appreciate the pretty lights".

AND FUCK. THAT. LAST. LEVEL. Seriously?! Neverending reinforcements with a nearly unkillable commander?! PLS DIE. I cruised through levels 20-25 and now the last one is KICKING ME IN THE BALLS. BACK TO LEVEL GRINDING I GUESS.

You should get Roy and Marth on that team too.

That aside, Frederick actually has some pretty decent growths anyways. I wouldn't call him a Jeigen; He's more of an Oifey.

This js so true it hurts. jonnyLaw also mentioned how by the Time you read everything it is too late to really respond. I still encourage more people to give thanks to those who give advice. even if you are just s lurker. I just find it difficult to have intelligent discussions when I can't play the game, so all my theories are exactly that - theories.
