Because if one were two then four would be divided by carrot and that would implode the world. but there can only be one carrot per monkey. Why would there be two carrots, I only see one, and only one will get it. If two try, they have to be different monkeys, no? There is no limt on the amount of carrots per monkey. This is the fatal flaw in your calculations. The monkey has learned to plant the carrot to grow more. An infinite amount of carrots will emerge and implode the very ground we're standing on. It is known.

What if the Kenpachi rule is started by scum? Or scum is finding FT a fitting target? Doubtful, it's creating actual scumhunting discussion where setup discussion was taking place. Shiao is probably town.
I am also not a big fan of using this tactic to destroy all conversation day 1, or redirect it on 1 person. That's not what's happening, it's helped trigger scumhunting.

Having 2 people fall for the same gambit in such a short period seems quite unlikely. I'm pretty sure rayn has been in a game with an attempted Kenpachi gambit anyways so he would know better than to fall for it along with his teammate. I don't think so, otherwise he wouldn't have taken the bait. I do think it's unlikely that two scum would jump on it immediately though, so you're right. There's a good chance one of them is scum though. Firm seemed to be content with jumping on the bandwagon after Rayn pointed it out at first, so Firm would be my first suspect, though I don't like how quickly a wagon formed on him. It feels itchy.

Shit just got real. Anyway now that I'm at work I'm catching up.

I fell for the Kenpachi rule like 5 times(his name is in my phone's dictionary despite never playing with him lol) and not once of those times was I actually scum. Not saying one of them can't be scum, but I really don't understand the appeal of it for finding scum.

Five might be excessive, but there have been multiple games where I've been called scum d1 because of the Kenpachi rule. I usually don't think shit through d1 and wing it as I go since that generally makes better discussion.

So guys, apparantly I'm masoned with Koshi. I'm interested in this guy and will try to have a nice little chat with him trying to figure out what alignment he is later on today. I'm getting some bad vibes from his play this far.

Anyway, if my qt partner doesn't identify himself/actually post by the 24/36? hr mark, what do you guys think about me killing him. We could use this for a dual purpose. Get rid of a hardcore lurker and we could test what Mal was saying about cancelling the shot without hitting someone we can read if he's lying (I think he is).
Actually second part might be gaming the setup too much, but figured I'd still post it since the first part is worth considering at least.

Anyway I'd totally be game to lynch Mal until he explains better why he thought it was a good idea to try and get someone killed so early in the day. If this was an attempt at a play from a town to force discussion the obvious choice is to not actually PM the host and just say you did so he'd contribute before he died.
Something doesn't add up.

Can someone meta me on Dandel? Is he always like this?
Z-BosoN says generic pro-town stuff, passively finger-points then goes to bed. Rainbows no like.

Why the negative reaction? Because the claim is either stupid or scum. Its a pointless claim no matter what alignment he is. However, I dislike the fact that he just waltzed into the thread with that pointless post and has not posted anything since...

Dandel giving any shit= probably town. Basically wait and see if it continues or if he gets bored. Bored=100% scum

I agree with you that I was a bit fluffy in my post. I find it strange that so many people jump on this FT wagon with the only reason being the "Kenpachi rule". I pointed out 2 people that went on that wagon really easily. But in 1 hour I will have a 1 on 1 with Lazermonkey, we will see what happens there.

Rainbows, are you masoned with stutters? If not, I'm cool with stutters killing his partner.

The other person I really want to hear about is Rayn. He looks way scummier than FT.

I generally don't like the Tofu wagon atm. Rayn was way more vocal about the VT claim than Tofu was, I find it strange that everybody wagoned onto Tofu instead.

So Stutters asked me about Malongo in the QT and I responded thusly:
If Malongo is scum then he obviously wanted to make sure the KP from masoning was in scums hands and not towns, which is a very good option. However, he becomes known and is put under scrutiny. I don't know if you can PM the host to deny the killing or not, but why would he openly tell him that he was killing him if scum? Wouldn't he just wait for the kill-post and then explain to the thread?
I'm not sure it makes him scum in that regard but it's something to question him about
Now I dug this up from earlier. It might just be wording but I think it could be significant. 4 Malongo 07-24-2013 05:14 AM ET (US) hi Ryan. I am sorry, i asked to get you killed . Nothing personal, i actually didnt knew it was you and just resent a hold up msg a minute ago (trying to revert the hit). ShiaoPis claim is null to me, more likely just a plain townie/dt trying to prevent a hit from the mafia, Z-Boson null for now. I think Lazermonkeys post is more of a threat.
Again sorry if I cant hold the hit, I thought most the guys posting were already on contact (still 5/6 players to post), also thats why I posted "sorry i couldnt resist".
Malongo uses the word "threat" as if he has some inherent guilty. Like he is trying to protect himself. He doesn't say suspicious or scummy but instead threat.
That's really all I think about Malongo atm. Rayn is kinda scummy but active. Z-BosoN is clean with his posting but something is off imo.
