I encourage you to not measure how happy you should be about this accomplishment by how much tail you got.

That's usually the only reason you'd get hung up over a girl: you need to prove to yourself that you're good enough for her by making her yours. To get rid of the self-doubt that maybe you're not man enough. As you get more experience, you'll realize that no girl is is "too good" or "too bad" for you. They're all the same. They're not special. You're just trying to find somebody who's going to drive you insane the least. Best of luck to you. I hope you're some sort of engineer, otherwise most people wouldn't be envious of your degree. Sorry to be so harsh.

Heads up to you for having your priorities straight :d Makes me think of malcom in the middle, the part where reese joins the army, and all guys entering there throw the picture of the girl they didn`t get in a barrel^^. I'd question though If she really is the love of your live, If she was, wouldn`t you be happy as long as she is happy(even with someone else)?

So 15 beers and some sleep deprivation later this was all well and reasonable, and very sympathetic of course.. I realize the obvious flaws in perspective taking. In the end it's basically a girl post at 6am, with lots of things that are supposed to make one happy but just don't really seem to work. I doubt I'm alone with that.

Heads up to you for having your priorities straight :d Nice to get all that from the post Exactly how I see it.
