He is there and available to play (as far as I know). Argh. Yeah, I don't see the reason why they didn't make him available, there are no foreign tournaments he could go to and Code S is soon, it's not like you should ban everyone who isn't playing in week one from anti teams. Let's ban Bisu too while we're at it, he won't play anyway. They just would have needed to lower his value since he's not worth nine points on either main or anti team.

Anyone thinking picking Bbyong is a great idea should reconsider. I picked him twice and he failed miserably. He isn't undervalued. He is just plain bad.

I tried to pick him, he wouldve been an absolute steal for anyone anti at 9 points, taeja wouldve been a bit worse but still a good deal for 9 points on an anti team. Made me sad when i couldnt pick them. On January 28 2013 04:16 Otolia wrote: [/list][*] SKT T1 (1p) [*]Opinion : I was mistaken when I choose them as a favorite team for R2. Rain failed to uphold its stardom status and may not yet be ready for Bisu-like worship and while he will play the ace from time to time, I wonder if his confidence is too low for that. FanTaSy or the man who wished he had a supporting cast as consistent as Flash's one. He certainly deserves it. soO may win more game this time around on the back of a flawless preparation but he is the most risky pick out of the 4p. The rest of the players will most likely be drawn from the {BeSt, s2, sacsri} group but among those only s2 has a positive record (3-3) so if you want to pick a SKT player, I would recommend him. Some of their fillers will see some playing time as they like to shuffle around the list. Unless Rain and soO step up and start winning, it'll be a hard round for them. A bottom 4 is quite likely. Feel like this doesnt cover the angles, yes SKT have underperformed so far but they have the players to be a top level team. Even if SKT hold form so far they are an absolute steal for 1 point, and given that they did better round one than round two, and round three is the same format as round one you would have to be mental to not pick SKT for your team. If you want to give advice based on SKTs mediocre performance it should be this: Avoid high value SKT players (id make an exception for Fantasy, who has been consistantly great so far Avoid using low value SKT players to pad your roster, go for ones on less stacked teams, they have better odds of seeing playtime. If your looking for a low value player to pad out your anti team, consider a SKT player, they are less likely to come out because SKT is pretty stacked despite its poor performance. Low value EGTL players look like good choices because EGTL is also stacked, but based upon results so far low level EGTL players might score more points just by being on the winning team more often.

It would make more sense to just decrease their point value due to their lack of appearances. Hell, even the OP is giving advice not to pick the two... just feels off if it's suppose to be official and informational. EDIT: When I mean decrease, I mean start with a decreased point value rather than let it decay overtime.

EG-TL has really messed up anti-team in the first two rounds. :/ Picking anti is supposed to be really hard but so far it's been easy in that regard. Kinda glad they're off limits because eg-tl has different priorities than other PL teams, and we even get to see line-ups in advance these days.

No, you should avoid every player on SKT. Period. Fantasy and Rain are too expensive considering the herd of consistent and good 5p players. soO should win some game but isn't much better than Light or Terminator (an OK choice). And I won't even mention the rest of the team who all have losing records except for Paralyze and s2 at 3-3 (which are the only 2 player one could consider choosing from SKT aside from betting on soO) As for taking the team itself, well I don't recommend betting because I don't like not having control of my destiny. R2 was the perfect setup for them, all they needed to do was to have Rain or Fantasy win at least 2 games per match and let their fodder + soO be snipers. And they FAILED ! UTTERLY ! MISERABLY ! If one cannot spare a point to take a 2p team (which is also not a good choice btw), then one could also try playing lotto everyday with the same numbers. Maybe one'll get lucky.

Look at the turn around of khan in R2 though (largely in close series). Going from one of the worst, to finishing 2nd in R2 is no joke. I think it's even more likely SKT1 will go through something similar

Main Team 5 Action (captain) The anchor of KT and now the anchor of my team as my captain, which is good but can also be a double-edged sword. He's there to guarantee an ace match if it goes that far. However, considering how good each KT player is individually, it's quite possible that they 4-0/4-1 and he rarely gets to play like early in round 1. This week he has Sacsri, who he's beaten before (although that TDA match was much closer than I anticipated) so I believe this is a solid Zerg pick to start off. 3 Bravo(hon_sin) Underpriced as usual. He's on an extremely stong Woongjin team and plays Sang, who he's beaten before as well. A slight gamble considering he's been more of a TvT sniper recently but I still think he takes down Sang. Plus the fact that WJS will most likely win, giving a guaranteed +1. 5 Dear Dear has been on my team every round thus far and in the last two weeks has shown why. He's a force to be reckoned with and relatively cheap at 5 points. He also has JD this week who still seems to struggle with Protoss for the most part. STX may not win this week, but there's always a chance for JYP to choke. 3 JYP Speaking of the new Failhoon himself, I picked up JYP as my other 3 pointer. As long as he can figure out what ails him and fix it, he'll be a solid player... or at least a 50/50 player otherwise. He plays hyvaa this week... and even though he is STX's best Zerg, I don't think he can take out JYP on entombed unless an epic choke occurs. 5 P7GAB(Wooki) You can never go wrong with Wooki (or another KT member), especially in PvP. He takes down BeSt ezpz this week and will probably continue his dominance that he showed in R1. 5 Revival Probably overpriced at 5 points and honestly not my first choice. However, I don't think ZerO plays this week so I didn't want to waste 8 points on him and selecting soO is a risk because Motive has beaten him before. If it wasn't for my complete lack of faith in Trap's ability to win, I probably would have never selected him. 4 Woongjin Stars Can't go wrong with WJS. They run deep, and have T8 this week. Although T8 has been running good lately, in this format, they can't have Jaehoon or Speed carry them to victory. As long as Soulkey can overcome Speed, this should be a 4-0 or 4-1 victory. Anti Team 2 Huk Does this choice really need an explanation? It's HuK. 8 JangBi He's been on my anti every season and has screwed me almost every time. I seriously don't think he is any good but somehow has stumbled into wins, owning my FPL. (An ace match he should have never won or been put in during R1 and a crazy win streak in R2 while all-killing EG-TL) Hopefully he finally proves me right and doesn't win much for his point value. 3 Shine Shine is just plain bad. I don't see him winning very much.
