Otolia's Team Preview
- CJ Entus (4p)
- Core : Hydra (8p), (EffOrt (7p), herO[jOin] (5p)
- Second String : Bong[S.G] (3p), Bbyong & SonGDuri (2p)
- Fillers : sKyHigh & rare (2p), Snow & Leta (1p)
- Opinion : If you don't pick a player from CJ Entus, you are doing it wrong. While Hydra and EffOrt may be a little to expensive, herO should be seen in a lot of teams. Their supporting cast is fairly cheap and that's a good thing for every Fantasy team. Bong has been fielded a few times and proved useful for a reasonable price. Bbyong and SonGDuRi are on the downfall and I strongly recommend to stay away from them particularly the Terran. This made room for sKyHigh and rare to see some play time for a cheap 2p if the former pair continue to disappoint. I am fairly confident we won't see neither Snow nor Leta this round. It's difficult to predict how they'll do this time but a top 4 should be within their grasp.
- KT Rolster (4p)
- Core : Flash (10p)
- Supporting Cast : Stats, P7GAB & Action (5p)
- Second String : Crazy (3p)
- Fillers : Hitman, Motive, Mind & HoeJJa (2p) BarrackS, Acacia, MyuNgSiK, PenguiN & miso (1p)
- After a R1 and the first week of R2 where every players and their mother have wins, the situation is back to what it should be : Flash + Others. KT supporting cast didn't do badly this round but they showed weaknesses and didn't look nearly as dominant. Flash is still a boss but at 10p he is way too costly. Wooki and Action are dedicated mirror match snipers and will likely get wins this way but I believe there is better choices for 5p like Stats who showed greatness in both vP and vT and he is a pick I recommend. Crazy isn't that consistent but for 3p he is decent. The rest of the roster should only see sporadic play time. As a team they will either be in the middle of the pack or in the top 2 depending on ace matches.
- Woongjin Stars (4p)
- Core : sOs & ZerO (8p), SoulKey (5p)
- Second String : free (7p), Light (4p), BrAvO (3p)
- Fillers : Flying & BisAnG (2p) Aria, Mekia, Hanbin, Rudy & Swift (1p)
- Opinion : Here is a team that should keep going strong. Despite not crushing their opponents in Winner's League they prevailed in the end on the back of their very homogeneous roster. First of all, one can assume that ZerO and sOs will continue to assume the main ace roles until Soulkey regains momentum. However considering the profusion of good 5p available I would recommend to choose Soulkey over ZerO or sOs anytime. Light has the thrust of his coach could come out as a ace sniper too for a normal cost. free while good is way to expensive for anyone to consider him but his vZ prowess is something to applaud. BrAvO is back in the main team and rightly so despite not seeing the light of day during R2, it's a bet many people will be willing to take especially for only 3p - his first match against a P will be a test. Among the rest of the team, Flying and BisAnG could play from time to time but the main six seems to be there and perfectly balance with 2 of each race. Anything but a top 2 would be surprising but apparently they have the habits of dropping down as the year progress. We'll see.
- EG-TL (2p)
- Core : TaeJa & Stephano (9p), HerO (7p), Jaedong (6p)
- Second String : Revival (5p), JYP (3p)
- Fillers : Zenio, HuK, PuMa & ThorZaIN (2p), IdrA & DeMusliM (1p)
- Opinion : The roller-coaster is back for another ride. Indubitably the team with the biggest potential whose performance is severely impaired by the fact that its best player TaeJa is unable to play and that its foreign star Stephano isn't always there. Their price should drop down to a more rational value during the round. HerO can do the job 75% of the time but is a risky choice given he has a lot of weight to carry, Jaedong is a master of ZvZ but isn't completely there yet and Revival's all-aroundness makes him very valuable for only 5p. JYP can execute some sniping builds and is decent for his price while PuMa and Zenio can pray to have a favorable match-up at a rather cheap price. Among the rest of the team, only ThorZaIN will come out as IdrA and DeMusliM are almost only playing HotS. For 2p, you can expect this team to be around the middle of the pack as long as TaeJa is sick and maybe above if he isn't.
- Eight Team (2p)
- Core : Argo (8p), Cure (6p), TY (5p)
- Second String : Terminator (4p), Savage & TRUE (3p),
- Fillers : ABLM & MajOr (2p), Sherry & Haruhi (1p)
- Opinion : A spectacular Round 2 for this team (along with the one below) who were carried by Argo and Cure. Both of them performing above what were expected of them and having their prices all the more increased due to that. While Argo might seem better overall, he is slightly overpriced and I would recommend picking Cure over him. TY, however, was underwhelming and might not be worth the 5p you would have to pay. I believe Terminator not to be worth the 4p as his weakness in vP makes him a liability in the long run. Savage and TRUE are not the best 3p picks you could find and seem to be lacking overall. The rest of the team isn't likely to come out and it's quite difficult to judge their value. T8 will be average in this round, winning some and losing some, their final place this round will depend on EG-TL results.
- Samsung Khan (2p)
- Core : JangBi & RorO (8p), Stork (7p)
- Second String : Reality & Shine (3p)
- Fillers : Sola & hOpe (2p), TurN, JuNi, Kop & oDin(1p)
- Opinion : It was a very rewarding R2 for Khan but it also showed their lack of depth. JangBi and RorO are back where they belong in the pricey league and Stork is on their heels. If you wish to pick a high-pointers, I believe there are better choices. What is worrisome for them is the supporting cast. Look at this, Reality and Shine cannot hold their own being 1-9 and 1-6 respectively, yet they are 3p. And I'm not going to mention anyone on the fillers list aside from Sola, a rookie who upset Stephano. In summary if you want to pick a Khan player, either go big with the heavy-hitters or go home. The fairy tale is over for them and unless they get a consistent support cast, they'll lose the war of attrition and fall to the bottom 4.
- SKT T1 (1p)
- Core : Rain & Fantasy (8p), SoO (4p)
- Second String : s2 (3p), BeSt (2p)
- Fillers : Bisu, Sacsri, ParalyzE & JyJ & sSak (2p), Hyuk (1p)
- Opinion : I was mistaken when I choose them as a favorite team for R2. Rain failed to uphold its stardom status and may not yet be ready for Bisu-like worship and while he will play the ace from time to time, I wonder if his confidence is too low for that. FanTaSy or the man who wished he had a supporting cast as consistent as Flash's one. He certainly deserves it. soO may win more game this time around on the back of a flawless preparation but he is the most risky pick out of the 4p. The rest of the players will most likely be drawn from the {BeSt, s2, sacsri} group but among those only s2 has a positive record (3-3) so if you want to pick a SKT player, I would recommend him. Some of their fillers will see some playing time as they like to shuffle around the list. Unless Rain and soO step up and start winning, it'll be a hard round for them. A bottom 4 is quite likely.
- STX Soul (1p)
- Core : Innovation (6p), Dear (5p)
- Second String : Trap, hyvaa & Last (3p)
- Fillers : Classic (2p) & Mini (2p) Calm, Comet, Size & Bear (1p)
- Opinion : While many expected STX to be a middle of the pack team with so many proven players in 2012, it seems 2013 is a whole new world for them. Innovation is the dedicated ace and for 6 points one can bet on him to win quite a few games. However I think the STX player to pick is definetely Dear, he has a top-notch PvP and a decent PvZ while his PvT remains questionable, all of that for 5p. Like Khan, they have little to no backbone here with Trap and Last being 4-6 and hyvaa being 4-9. Among the rest, only Classic and Mini will see the light of day but I wouldn't bet a penny on them. It's another long road of punishment ahead for SouL, and I doubt they will be anywhere but the bottom 2.

And why can't I pick Taeja for anti-team? Just because of his injury?
