I am starting to run The Witcher 1 at the moment, and I have some problems with WSplit, he does not react to the global hotkeys while in-game. I suspect that it is a game related problem though, as I can't even access the in-game steam menu either...
Some games do that where they override global hotkeys, try using Llanfair. It's a java based wsplit program that I had to use for Mark of the Ninja because of the same problem.

Are you streaming at all, one of my favourite games and would be cool to see what a run looks like.
Just watched runnerguy2489's latest JP 100% OoT run, setting a WR in the process (5:18:34), which is pretty awesome considering he's using a marathon route (less riskier but more time needed). Can't wait to see if he can refine it more in preparation for AGDQ.
I think by using this marathon run, he convinced himself that there was no way he could get WR, and ended up playing waay better because of the lack of stress.

I tried Llanfair, and it works very fine, thanks a lot !

I have tested streaming, but my setup proved too weak to get a stream in decent conditions. So I will practice and improve the route offline until I buy a new computer in a few months (hopefully!)

For the person who brought up SFXMM earlier I did a race of it (And ended up quitting because it turns out Megaman games are hard). It looks pretty fun to run once you know how to play its just going to take a lot of work and not having random energy tanks in the walls.
