Killing off the last bit of the Korean BW scene, what's the point? WHY??!!! It's probably not for profit, since it's been more than 2 years since SC2 release so whoever still playing BW nowadays wouldn't switch anyway. FUCK YOU BLIZZARD. FUCK. YOU.

Even the translation sounds overly dramatic about how depressed he is. I'm sure he put in a lot of time, but all of that time, didn't include a 5 minute form fill out or email to blizzard korea to make sure he was given the okay? LIke he said, to obtain the license he will take 2 weeks, but that's probably because blizzard has to make sure his tournament is legit and won't misrepresent the name Blizzard. Welcome to the real world people, where if you're running anything large enough to an audience under someone else's licensed product, you need to receive permission.

Holy shit I'm pissed of, what the hell can they possibly achieve by doing this. I mean fuck this shit guys, I have already made it one of my goals in life to spite Blizzard in any way possible and it appears they have the same goal for us too. I know TL is making way too much money from SC2, so any type of serious boycott from this site is unlikely, but what can we do other than pirate the game and make sure as many people as possible don't buy it? We need ideas people

But of course not, this is all about how blizzard is trying to kill bw, and how sc2 is a shit game. get over yourselves. Thank you. No one here truly knows whether or not this guy went through the right channels in regards to stream. He can't just say "aw c'mon" and then Blizzard "oh okay" and let him stream on whatever provider he wants for a game they own the rights to. They could be looking at losing sponsors and partners because of it, it's not just a backyard tournament this is a big one. What does SC2 have ANYTHING to do with the rights to stream Broodwar?

Uh there was never any problem for 13 years before SC2. This licensing garbage happened after SC2. Also we don't see this issue with WC3. What other company asks for licenses to allow people to stream their game?

Thats wrong, you where always in need to have a license to run a professional tournament with prize pool. Just before Activision and SC2 they did not interfere.

To be honest I'm kinda glad their games are pretty shitty nowadays, makes it easier to boycott and avoid them. More bad language in spoiler + Show Spoiler + Fucking Cunts. I don't care what their fucking cunty reasons are, this is a bloody amateur BW tournament. Fucking Cunts.
