Yay for hypersensitivity. First of all it's HIS show, if you don't like it don't watch it. If djWHEATs wants to close the show don't whine/biatch around now. What did you expect? him taking all the shit and just go on since HE OWES the community? People don't realize that the show is a service from him and the others and not something you paid to consume. I would recommend everybody to chill out ... *see what I did there?XD* and take a time out, since there were 5 individuals on the show who wanted to make their point valid. And it ended in chaos, so what? it's not the first time it happened and will not be the last time. Even if the community don't like to admit it, but that shit is what we love to watch or not?
Did you qoute the wrong person?

There is no argument defending Destiny. He came on to a show to have a discussion. Instead of listening to other peoples point of view, he just kept rehashing the same dead end points over and over. His mindset was, "If I talk louder and faster than everybody else, then that'll make them agree with me."
iNcontroL's jokes were not that offensive (I say this as someone who was offended by the avilo situation) If these are the most offensive comments you've heard, you've lived a very sheltered life. Time to take a spoon of cement and harden the fuck up.
Destiny threw a lowblow at the other guys on the show, and then hung up before anyone could respond. That is universally known as being a little pussy bitch, and djwheat had every right to react the way he did.
People like to make comparisons between starcraft and other mediums. Well I bet no one here has ever written to the writers of Family Guy, or South Park when they've made an offensive or controversial joke. Why do it in this case? Is it because you like the sound of your own voice? You like to see your name up on the internet and see a celebrity replying to it? Because you know that you are an average, mundane, absolutely fucking boring potato, who will never contribute anything worth while to society and you need to have your little "LOOK AT ME!" moment before you die and are forgotten forever?
Haters gonna hate. Let's let them behind while we as the community grows something awesome. Something interesting to note is I think the exact opposite of what you're thinking. So that's why people are still talking about this, you keep posting things that people will disagree with. And you said haters gonna hate... : \

I thought it was a decent show with some good arguments on both sides. The way Destiny left, was not very cool, but it was damn funny i have to say.
Now as for the part i bolded, just no...you never have the right to go crazy shouting insults left and right like a spoiled brat. It was understandable, infuriating for wheat, etc, etc, but it is not a god damn right...what it was is a mistake. It's as simple as that.
Hope the show comes back, <3 DjWheat!

Idra and inControl, killing two shows in 2 months with 2 ill-advised phone calls. lol.

i don't get it.
On topic: I just didn't like how everyone behaved in that show (except painuser obv). One thing that bothered me most is that Wheat-Idra-Incontrol kept accenting whole discussion on a single phrase from Destiny's post "SC2 is gonna die if Blizzard don't do this and that", which was too much exaggeration from Destiny, however this wasn't main point of Destiny's post. He mostly talked about problems of sc2 in dramatic way, and had decent points on how to improve situation. The post was met by community in agreeable way. Most people felt similarly.
back to my point. Wheat-Idra-Incontrol didn't want to discuss those things, they just disregarded them with "ok, we agree with that" then go "BUT WHY U SAY SC2 GONNA DIE???" etc etc. Then wheat goes rumbling about LoL, american idol analogy, how sc2 made twitch.tv grow, which all were not so relevant to Destiny's post.
It all left me feeling like they just wanted to bash Destiny from the get go.
I saw Incontrol in Decision making show. And he acted there decently and didn't even argue when people told him that destiny did a good thing. I don't mean to hate Incontrol, but I think he realizes that he was wrong last time.

Late to the party, but Incontrol deserves a fucking standing ovation for that smackdown.

Get it in your thick skulls. If you were offended, don't watch it. It's not for you.
The "starcraft community" is actually a bunch of grandparents writing letters to South Park and the Simpsons because they are offended.
I use quotes because I don't consider you guys part of the starcraft community. Not part of the relevant portion, anyways. I doubt half the people crying have ever gone to an event or supported the game in any meaningful sense.
edit: if ITG and LO3 actually end because of this, the terrorists win. DO IT FOR AMERICA WHEAT
You speak of easily offended while wheat took his toys and left because of the drama. Oh the irony. And to not even mention Incontrol that doesn't go to SotG anymore because of that dhramha.
OMG it goes 2 ways, you don't say.

This has definitely been SotG 2.0. DJwheat lost a lot of my respect due to how he acted at the end of the episode, and the EG duo were dicks as usual.
Destiny had legitimate points, but the three of them kept shooting them down with "well we need to do things, cause Blizzard won't." They literally had zero contributions to the discussion and made it personal at one point.
Honestly think Painuser was the only good one in the whole thing. He took both sides of the argument of both sides and actually tried to keep things civil. Wait, seriously? Destiny ragequitting with 'you suck at Starcraft' wasn't "making it personal"? I really don't think you followed the conversation at all - which is understandable, there was a lot of yelling over one another - and are just speaking to your bais. You most definitely missed Idra telling Destiny to "shut the fuck up" then, along with Incontrol bringing up how Destiny showed his dick in pics. Pretty sure that was one of, if not THE, first thing he said. I was gonna have a long and reasoned response, but honestly I don't care. This kind of back and forth is shitty for everyone. I heart djWHEAT. He's done so fucking much for every community he's touched it's unreal, and it sucks to see the pack of ungrateful, ignorant assholes that we've become leaping all over him. The writing's been on the wall for a long time, but this latest thing, imo, really confirms it. The problem with Starcraft 2 isn't Blizzard, or unlimited unit selection, or Dustin Browder, or even Activision. It's you, and it's been you and people like you all along.
The problem is me? Please elaborate.
I keep adblock off of my favorite streamers and TL. I pay for HD stuff for tournaments. Not going to say I'm the #1 contributor, but I damn do contribute a bit, so save your generalizations.
And pointing out that someone acted like an obnoxious child is apparently a problem? Lol, did you see how wheat acted after Destiny peaced out? I've never seen such a childish way of expressing disbelief. It really was pathetic. Don't slobber too much on his dick because of what hes done in the past. He has given a lot to the community(much like jp) but that doesn't change the fact he acted like an asshole.

I honestly hope he does shut the shows down. Not because I don't like them, I watch and love every episode, but because the community doesn't deserve the free stuff they get. I hope wheat does something which generates better money and has less angsty teenagers affecting your every day life.
Blizzard isn't killing sc2. The community is.

People who think the show is done because of this drama are probably incorrect. It's been getting progressively more stale and less and less about "the game" as time goes on. They spend more time discussing drama than the game itself most weeks, so of course drama is going to follow them as well. Big surprise.
