So, hello guys, im 21 yrs old, and started to play poker 2 weeks ago, but i played fake money games before, but just now im playing with real money, just low SNG and cash games, nothing big, buy in of 0,25 or 0,10 for SNG's + rake and 0,01-0,02 cash games.
I started with 10$ at william hill from PokerStrategy and also i started at Poker770 with 7,70 bonus.
Atm, my balances at each poker room is: WH = 7,66 e Poker770 = 8,95.
So, i wanna become a good PokerPlayer, and be profitable with it, but i dont really have any1 to talk about the game, or some1 to get tips and stuff ... Atm im reading and watching videos from pokerStrategy, but i dont feel like it's really working. This month i ll probally get Silver status at pokerstrategy so i ll get acess at more information \o i think it ll probally help me.
The thing is, was i said before, i dont have friends that play poker, and i know there's a banch of sites there, like 2+2 and PS, but i was never really a present member of those, and i feel like here, in TL there's people from everywhere and that do all kind of good stuff, so, if you ar a TL user, and you ar good at poker and wanna help a noob out, drop me a PM with your contact informations, your creditcard number and your social ID.
On a Srly note, i ll really apreciate if some1 can take some time to help a brother out! :D
PS: is at poker, not on Poker, unfortunally this is not a dirty blog ... PS2: Im playing Texasholdm NL, SNG and Cash Games.

When I first saw your blog title on the sidebar I was excited that this would be an interesting blog...
So few relationship blogs these days with State banned

haha i was thinking the same thing - my advice is dont play with real money until you actually can just play without thinking too much. sucks you dont have friends that could play.

hahahaha on sidebar of blogs I looking for men.....
Just start off by playing a lot.. obviously start off with fake money so you don't go poor in the process. Everytime you lose a hand and don't know why, think of why you lost the hand, what you can do better. When is a good time to be aggressive with bluffs in terms of the amount of chips you have in comparison with etc. Learn from your mistakes, and learn how to bet properly. You won't have the best hand the majority of the time, so to come out ahead you need to know how to make the most money off the hands you have, and how to lose the least money other wise. Learn strategies for how to reel people in to thinking your hand is mediocre and how to get the most out of them. Also something to think about is how good a hand is in comparison to how big the table size has become. For instance, a pair of 8s at a table of 8 people is probably just a mediocer hand in most flops, but a pair of 8s in a table of 2 people is much better.
TLDR, play more, learn from each game, each hand, win or lose.

liquidpoker is quite a mean place to go to.
Really, the biggest thing you need to know is money management and game theory. Get a book on game theory. Like, now.

Its not ON, is AT. Lol Sorry, my english was you can see is not pretty good ... asjdiosd
@Mementoss Well, I have been playing with fake money for while, and its a bit diferent, people will just pay to see your hand at the showdown, they almost never fold, just if they have a pretty nice sh1t hand, otherwise, it ll probally end at the showdown. And yes, I studying about size bets and stuff like that, I aways take in credit things like, my position, what hands the villain played before and how did he playerd it, agressive or not and etc. I Dont limp anymore, if i open i open with a raise, because i read that you have advantage to be the agressor in almost everytime. Ofc, some Monsters hands i dont play so agressive, because it can make the villain fold, when i need him to payoff my bets.
@WniO Thanks for the advice, and i allrdy know the game, i mean, I think im ok, playing with real money, because that's where the real game is, and i want to learn it.
Thanks for the advices, and im waiting for those creditcard numbers :D
Ps: Sorry for my english, im trying to write in the best way possible.

I can help you, not sure I'll have enough time for a true mentoring but you can always PM me your questions or hand histories. I play poker for 7 years now, I started with a free 10$ bankroll and now I'm a mid stakes regular. I mostly play 6 max cash game but I have experience in donkaments and SNG (won the old full tilt 28k and the stars 30k some years ago when France could still play on .com rooms) , I don't play MTT a lot anymore but sometimes go to play live tournaments. For now I'd say keep playing pennies, even tho you'll see that the players aren't very different in penny games than in play money. And it's a good thing, that should allow you to have a decent winrate as long as you're willing to learn.

on the side bar of TL where it shows all the forums and their tops threads, this blog is abbreviated as "i looking for men"
sad to say i sure was disappointed when i clicked on this.
anyways, on point, i was a poker dealer at the new cleveland casino for the first few months or so. please do not get into this. its a waste of money and sure, u can play the odds correctly and come out a little on top over the long run, but in the end 80% of the game is still just dumb luck. and unless youre playing a home game, the real life casino or online casino is raping your pot every hand, win or lose. i would know, it made me feel SO SO shitty to have to take a dollar out of a 10 dollar pot and pass the winning hand his 9 dollars.

I'm here because of the sidebar, sadly. Nice post though; I hope your pokering goes far!

Get the free trial of HEM2 or pokertracker. At the end of each sessions check out the hands where you lost the most.
Web is full of ressources, Browse 2+2. A lot of good advice there, from the generic "if you call turn you should call river" to more advance 3-4bet strategies and such.
Learn to play tight "ABC" poker first. Knowing the odds from each seat will help you in fold/all in situation in MTT for starter.
If you are in MTT you can always pratice ICM with sngwiz <--- google that shit. You can also upload hands and see which ones were bad all-in/folds.
I sometimes like to watch youtube pokerstars channel. There is some commentated play of Sunday's millions final table and such. It gives perspective too see everyone's cards and how the played the hands.
Finally don't go toward coaching if you don't have enough basic knowledge, it won't help you that much. Most of what you'll learn can be found for free online or just via playing. Try playing several thousands of hands with a tracker software and then you can see your bad tendencies and where you lose the most money.

On topic, I can't help you OP, BUT, there is a lot of literature on the subject and forums on the internet. I would also suggest learning game theory.

its not an insult, it is what it is. if you want the live poker experience then please reward a good and fast dealer. otherwise stay in your house and play online and just save everyone the trouble.

they never tip because they are always broke.
Talk to any pro ever and he will tell you the same.
Most of the time these guys are living on credit, waiting to be able to pay their bills again.
They hit it big, then throw it all down the toilet. Even the top pro's go from rags to riches to rags to riches constantly.
