@USA Citizens, looks like dont tip on your country is some kind of crime ... That's not the first time i see some1 from america, insult ppl because they dont tip "enough" or at all. Its pretty sad the way your guys look.

i worked in a tipping profession (card dealer as mentioned) and i happen to agree with you completely. tips are all well and good when someone goes above and beyond what the job should be, whatever that job is, card dealing or serving food etc
the problem is that somewhere along the line the corporate world realized they could save a ton of money if they just convinced the public that all tipping professions deserved a minimum of 15%. that way they could pay their employees 15% less give or take. therefore, when someone wins a ton of money at my table and gives me a dollar i get upset because my base salary is 5 dollars an hour. its why i always tipped well and even more so now after working in a tipping profession. you realize that the 15% is not a real tip but part of their salary the employer doesnt want to pay. and then i give 20-25% if an truly exceptional job was done.
