What kind of tool would you be interested in?

Wanted to title What kind of tool would you be very interested in for training but it limits to a ridiculously small amount of characters...

Anyhow I don't know what there is these days I used to mess around with a few things like multitasking trainer and green tea AI I'd like to make an SC2 programming project cause its so interesting I love this game was obsessed with it ever since I discovered it in 2010 as my brother surprisingly wanted it as a birthday gift even though he was never into RTS but he loved WoW another blizzard game. I found SC2 to be even more addicting than WoW was which is crazy... I reached low GM mmr in 2015 and since I'm so familiar with the game thought it'd be a great project to work on...

So, is there anything unmade that you'd love to have as a training tool or something that you need a better version of? I'm up for a challenge...

I think a tool that would let you grind out a bunch of realistic compositional engagements, with a slightly smarter AI would be a fun tool.

At least the ones I’ve tried the AI is quite abusable due to predictability so they’re not great practice for facing a human.

Might be worth checking if it already exists mind!

In my opinion the best training tool from a Terran perspective is the arcade game Marine Control. It teaches you a ton of things:

How to correctly utilize/abuse terrain and map

Stop splitting with small groups of marines vs High Ling Low bane armies

Stutter stepping vs Lings and then splitting vs Banes

Identifying when the kite banes or split vs them

Literal general army usage/control

It is the best arcade for getting better at overall bio control I feel like, a newer version or more levels of it would be neat or just a way to make it so that the map doesn't mine out if you take to long to get to the spine crawler level lmao.

There's a great tool that already exists: Super Fusion

It's a build order optimizer based on an older similar tool called SC Fusion.

BUT

1- It's not ready for the 3 gateway-warping-speeds of 5.0.16
2- It doesn't work on Linux (should be as simple as changing the library from wxWidgets 3.1 to wxGTK3 and entering the settings need to compile with GCC or Clang)
3- It's apparently too slow to handle killing of units: https://github.com/andrew-j-armstrong/SCFusion/issues/24

After all that, I think it would be great to rename milestones, add the income delay at the start due to worker split and handling rich mineral fields and vespene geysers.

The reason why I don't do it myself: I don't know how to code and at 41, I'm not going to learn either.

Just an updated plain old build order practice tool please. I never liked the Overwolf one it is sooo bad, buggy and hard to use. Sometimes such a simple tool built well is much appreciated. In game mod and not an overlay please.

Looks like some people have alluded to it somewhat but:

Back when I used to do coaching the one thing that always stood out to me was when people were unable to identify when they were advantaged or disadvantaged before a potential engagement. (Assuming both have a moderate level of micro/control)

Obviously micro can skew things drastically one way or another but there are definitely binary situations where retreating or not engaging are the only valid plays.

Something like this would probably be better suited as an html project over a sc2 custom though.
