These are pros, they're adaptable, it's not like they're gonna fall apart just cause they have to play matches closer than usual, they'll be fine. Yeah they'll have less preparation time but I don't think it's such a big deal, they will "prepare to having less preparation" They will play worse matches. How can that ever be a good idea? :s

Korean team: Taeja, MC, Leenock/Symbol/DRG/ Squirtle/Seed/MKP The only two players who will DEFINATLY be on the Korean team are Taeja or MC Unless they go by GSL results only like last time.

I agree that it's odd and it may affect the quality of the games, but it's done, and whatever, hope for the best. Most likely next season is gonna be normal.

BTW anyone who doesn't realize how silly this is really does not understand anything about leagues like GSL and how they are meant to be played.

Yeah they'll have less preparation time but I don't think it's such a big deal, they will "prepare to having less preparation" I don't care if they can handle the pressure or not - the decision to do this is still bullshit. There is a reason why GSL is pretty much the only tournament I follow really close and this completely takes away everything I love about it.

Plus they don't play that much to begin with, it's like two bo3s and one bo7 at most for the two finalists, like I said they'll be just fine.

Nah, you like the GSL because they have the best players and Tastosis, has nothing to do with the format. They'll have all that, just more exciting but shorter.

The thing is, we love both, because they are different kind of tournament; we're complaining because GSL is taking away that difference that made them unique. There are people that love watching UFC and WWE, because they different kind of entertainment; and this is like UFC switching to the drama-centric story driven fighting, it's stupid.
