haha, quite akward interview. But she will learn... playing so good I'm sure she will win many more tournaments!

I agree. She seems very nervous talking on stage.

It's hard to tell how good she really is based on only two LANs, but the quality of players she has beaten definitely warrants more invites, and not just because 'she's a girl'.
EDIT: And her style really is nice to watch. Great execution, low-risk, no gimmicks ... it's refreshing (at least to me).

I would say that the Canada tournament was simply handled much better than the US one, where MLG pretty much swept it under the rug. I thought the US tournament had plenty of great games yet it wasn't advertised correctly. Whereas NASL has done such a great job integrating it into the weekend's events

GGs by Scarlett, the Illusion comment MIGHT be referring to the fact that Scarlett was the lead, main "story" of IPL 4, when she beat 1 Code A Korean, 2 good foreigners, and took a game off of Oz, a Code S player. Illusion in the same tournament took out THREE then Code S players at the same tournament, not games off of three, matches, and got a lot less hype (Zenio, Ryung, and Oz).
EDIT: This is not to say Scarlett doesn't deserve any hype, or that Illusion has gotten NO hype, it's just a relative thing. I think players like Suppy should get more hype for his MLG run, (he did get some hype, again, it's just a relative thing). I think we need to focus on ANY really good potential talent coming up in NA, because frankly, there isn't enough of it.

Give her some time, its understandable why this would be a bit overwhelming. More people are afraid of public speaking than death.

Even in 1 on 1 interviews she looks super shaky and scared. Can't really blame her, some people are just scared by that kind of attention.
That interview sure reminded me of one of Naniwa's old interviews hahaha
Congrats Scarlett! That was a great way to finish the tournament!

People who care already knew who illusion was/is.
NO ONE knew who scarlet was.

I have never heard Scarlett speak so I am not sure if this might be accurate,
but could it be she did not give a proper interview because her voice might not sound too feminine?

Illusion did get invited to IPL Hot Import Nights to play with DRG, MMA, and Hero.
It's not like Illusion isn't getting his.

Honestly I feel that NA fans should embrace both of them because honestly I don't really see any other new up-and-comers around and the gap between NA and the rest of the world keeps getting bigger.

Hormone treatment doesn't affect the voice the same way it does the rest of the body, and a lot of people going through the transgender process go through voice training in order to better mask their voices. Those who haven't or who are in the process of doing so often are uncomfortable with speaking for that reason.

I'm asking an honest question here - when did it become okay to identify Scarlett as a transgender? When she first appeared in the scene at MLG it was considered taboo call her anything but 100% female.
