people have to fucking lighten up.
i didn't tune in today but since you're playing diablo 3 ill tune in next time. gl hf. It's so funny that whenever you combine girls, games and sexiness, everyone here feels so "abused", because clearly they are the target of a stereotype exploiting marketing trick. And it's true. Sex sells, big newsflash. But the point is, if the girl is comfortable showing her goodies, and if you still have your five senses together, you can just decide to not watch out of whatever reason you think it is, that makes you feel uncomfortable, watching a nicely presented cleavage.

Damn, I guess, Tara , I'll not be able to watch your stream while at work, that cleavage (and wall posters) is so NSFW Leaving the jokes aside, good luck, hope one day you will get good enough to participate in SC2 competitions (if you plan to keep on playing SC2).

Thanks so much for the continued support and any constructive criticism! I'm on the StarCast tonight at 8pm EDT! Check it out and support their awesome StarCraft-centered show on Twitch! I'll post links to VODs after the fact, too!

Haters are gonna hate and you seem somewhat intelligent (at least intelligent enough to realize this is a demographic ready to be exploited by "sexy gamer girls"), but I just wish people like you would stop making a mockery out of "actual" nerds by putting on those ridiculous clothes and glasses, all the while being a ex cheerleader clothed-porn model with plastic tits and lips. I heard the term "blackface for nerds" once and if this isn't it I don't know what is.
Also I would recommend making your webcam at least twice as big, as that will net you far more viewers. It doesn't make sense to have the section of the screen that displays 99% of the reason people are watching your stream be as big as it would be for most reasonable pro-gamers, who only display their cam as an aside but are mainly watched for their high level gameplay.
Good luck with your venture.

There are a lot of non-pro streams that do not get massive negative comments. Should we hate on Tara because she has a model career and is proud of it? I don't see any difference from pointing people to the Graphic Design I do for a living on my show.
If you have an issue with a free piece of content don't consume it. No one is forcing you to watch and there won't be news segments on CNN or FOX denouncing eSports because a model is involved.
Shameless self promotion: Tune in to StarCast tonight to see our interview with Tara. She is a real gamer who also happens to be a model. She's completely in her right to be proud of what she does.
Keep on rocking Tara.

Thanks for streaming Tara! <3

Is there any article/further info on this? I don't recall it ever being discovered that she was faking it all for publicity. I'm not doubting you, i just want to know what happened and whatnot cause this is a little surprising.

It was actually so obvious that I would not even call it "faking" interest, but rather being professional.
Tara Babcock seems like a different type btw. Already the way she argues on this forum makes her look pretty nerdy. You would never see that from a Lindsay Sporrer.

It's a cool idea, though it might be better off when reach plat+
While fun, the game play level just become too much to keep up after a few minutes (for people who actually trying to watch the game).

Yes her enthusiasm *at* the event was very obviously put on but all the twitter updates about how exciting the finals looked and how it made her want to start playing the game herself was unnecessary and crossed the line from "being professional" to being disingenuous. There was a lot of talk about how she wanted to stream her first playing experience but never did. She was very active on twitter during the NASL but once the event was over she stopped posting any updates and then resumed tweeting about upcoming modeling/acting gigs and never mentioned sc or the NASL again =/
It was rather amusing how quickly a fanclub was made for her that reached almost 100 pgs and with a lot of members only to be forgotten just as fast.
