paint every texture at least once on the map.
go to Map->Map Textures, this will show every texture currently used in the map and the current tileset, click on the button marked "modify".
In the window that appears, scroll down to the field called "terrain textures" using this you can change the textures availible in that tileset.
Go back to the Map Textures window and click on the buttons next to the textures to change the textures
@paralleluniverse: probably by putting unit and texture data in multiple published "mod" files that are used as imports into the main map, I'm not sure exactly how to do this

They could only build the relevant stuff but they didn't ever expand and stopped worker production pretty quickly too. I want to somehow tell the AI to prioritise constant worker production and expansions whenever there's available minerals.

Hey I am having a problem publishing a map. Now I am using a version of the GSL Daybreak map just so I didn't have to take the time on my own to make one. All I wanted to do is change up some stats and tech trees of a few things and see how it played with some friends.
The problem is when I try to publish it. I get a message saying some published name is unavailable. I am going to imagine this is the person that made and published the map to begin with? Is there anyway to get around this? I don't mean to steal or anything like that. Just want to try some stuff on this well made map.

Go to Map Info and change the name. Should be under Map in the top toolbar.

Hey, how do I: 1. Save a picture of my map and upload for critique on this site? I am not sure how to do that in the same quality and way everyone else does. 2. How do I go to bird's eye view in the editor?

@Aerysta: I think you need: tools->brush->Allow Cliff Merging
@Kiro21: 1 - in the editor, go to data->export map image, setup the image like you want(90 degree cameral angle and farly big, like 1000 to 3000 pixels) and press "OK", then convert the resulting TGA image to a JPEG or PNG using an image editor, I would suggest something like Paint.Net or maybe GIMP , then upload the image using TL's upload image function.

TvZ, you think that a 7 roach rush may be coming, and as a Terran you are 1 rax FE: 1) how many bunkers? 2) bunkers in the high ground or can I put them down in the natural when the natural has a ramp?

Hi
Me and my friend wanted to make a map in the BW map editor, but we have some question about the cliff
First, we only have ramps that go from low to high by the left or the right, but we don't find the ramps that go from high to low by the left and the right.
If a image can explain
I'm able to find the ramp no.1 and no.2, but not the 3 and the 4.
Also, i want to make some lign with huge ramp like on Hearthbreak Ridge or Sniper Ridge. Something like this
