Like SoundBlaster became MVP sponsor because they already sponsored coL. I don't think MYM can bring in the money they had to say they would to get this deal. Doesn't see this going well with how MYM has been running as of late.

Remember coL before the MVP agreement? Who did they really have on their roster? Some notable guys sure but they weren't nearly the team they've become after the agreement, expanding their roster to include Koreans, offering training to their foreigner players and even having this new found aura. This aura that makes you go "oh yeah they're big" when you think coL. MYM now is pretty much made up of XlorD as their only real notable, but think of how much MYM stands to gain out of partnering with MVP, one of the biggest and best Korean teams. Think of how much coverage their team will get, the heads it'll turn and the spotlight that may be placed on them. They stand to grow a lot. It's like any start up team or let's say Eclypsia. First signing Welmu and Slog made people go "oh this is pretty cool I guess", then they went all our and took a risk in signing Desrow, Artist, and Scarlett, and pulling off that April Fools shenanigan. Now people recognize Eclypsia, now Eclypsia has the attention it needs to grow and I feel like this partnership with MVP for MYM will mean that MYM wants to become a dominant team in SC2.
