cause they're gonna like......break........MVP? because they're......not as good.....? please? what the fuck why would it hurt MVP ?!?!?! mym gives them money mvp gives them publicity i dont see how mvp can lose in this deal and now that xlord finished school hes gonna own Because this mYm is a joke and is a thousand times worse deal than they had with coL.
How do you know the deal was 1000 times worse then what they had with coL? You don't, so you can't comment of the business side of this.

god i hate these partnerships. It's more 'sponsorship' rather than partnership, if one party is only supplying funds.

Uh. I thought mym went under a long time ago and current team is dodgy as hell.

Thats pretty accurate now.

Did not expect this. Could this mean that Xlord goes to Korea?

In comparison, the coL.MvP even bad had sense. This one is just oGs.SK type. Pointless unless you want to recruit which koreans don't like anyway.

It has been well known the latest 2 years that the new mYm economic status is shit, has been said by the former cs 1.6 players (as well as the former sc2 players I believe). If they couldn't even send their own EUROPEAN teams to EUROPEAN events how in the hell will they be able to send KOREANS to INTERNATIONAL events. Complexity were sending the MVP players to every major event (Dreamhack, IEM, MLG and IPL), there's no chance in hell that the new mYm could top that.

well apparently MvP accepted the deal so how can you be so sure its shit and MvP gets nothing out of it?

I think most of you missed the part where the col.MVP partnership broke because of sponsor issues. So even if the deal is way worse, MVP propably had to find a replacement in a short time to not just lose all the sponsorship/tournament presence.
Not sure why MYM would ever do this though

I can't imagine MVP went to MYM, considering their track record and having one player on their team.
MVP coach probably just saw $_$ and said sure let's partner.
we'll see what happens

I'm not saying they wont, I'm saying it just wont be as good as what coL had for them. And then again Koreans have kind of high expectations of foreign organizations. T_T

very surprised that a team like MVP would allow themselves to be affiliated with the shady and unreliable organization MYM. i have always liked xlord as a player, but i would much rather see this partnership undone, mym dissolve, and xlord find a new team. does anyone remember the specific details about mym screwing over Soccer (currently Slayers.Ven)? I remember hearing about them not paying months of salaries to him when he played war3 for them (with good results, too) but i don't remember exactly what happened. help me shine some light on this so MVP can see their mistake.

haha totally forgot that MYM was ever in sc2 before <.<
MYM is still a strong brandname even if their current financial situation is dubious. Hopefully they can make something happen..
|
hm interesting choice to partner with MYM Rather unfortunate coL was let go
Dunno how this'll work out, but looking forward to see what they can do

SICKEST PICK-UP! Man Mym is probably one of the most talented players out there, glad to see him picked up by MVP if I read that well. Hope he shows some results somewhere around the world, sometime.

|
Wow this was unexpected to see MYM trying to pick back up and get more involved with SC2 again, I mean xlord is their only real notable player atm. But Good luck to both MVP and MYM in their new partnership! Maybe we'll be seeing a lot more of xlord
