I recorded the data of my last 25 games ( most of them tend to be 20 minutes long), and surprisingly my average SQ is 79, quite high above my league position (high gold zerg).... I think it just shows how bad I'm at decision making and scouting... I seriously need to improve on these fronts.

I have been using this to measure my macro progress with really great results. Choosing a progression goal like, "Always make workers" and using this to measure my progress, I've been able to win 7 out of the last 8 games. Record for the previous 20 games: 7 wins out of 20. My Cumulative AVG SQ has raised from 40 to 46. My Cumulative AVG SQ from the last 20 games before I ever read this article: 40.6 My Cumulative AVG SQ from the last 8 games, while trying to "always make workers": 60.6

I've been able to conclude a few things which has made me change up my games and also look differently at games from others, which is how much probes/drones/scv's i make and especially when. Thank you!

I make about 65 workers per game on average, today got everything from 8 to over 70 (platinum) SQ is about high diamond on average. I wonder if you can see what the worker stats/income stats are at a certain point, which would be an interesting point of comparison. Apparently I have 80 SQ and I'm in bronze... In 1 game, or average? It could be that you played against, say, a computer, and only macroed. I did that and got 115, so that wouldn't be accurate.

Only one game, so it isn't accurate then lol I'll play some more and see my average then

You said the SQ-equation doesnt really work for income beneath 600. But what about the other end? Does really high income mess up the equation as well? I've noticed that in games I've got over 2000 income, my SQ get high even with a lot of unspent recources. Obviously higher income = higher unspent, but still... Is the equation balance for high income, or does it have a weakness just like for low income? And for that matter, how does really low or really high unspent resources affect the equation?
